[QUOTE="DoctorBunny"][QUOTE="Homesrfan"][QUOTE="GatoFeo"]Okay, here are my reasons why Wii is'nt Next-Gen. Don't get all mad and stuff. Remember, I want your to hear your reasons too!!
-It only uses 480p. No Hd.
-Cost far more least than the other guys.
-Mostly all games are average. (According to gamespot ratings)
-Hardware is much less powerful in this gen.
Well here are my main reasons. Care to share yours, :)
Have A Nice Day. :)

While I don't agree... Wii IS next gen...
And why the hell does it matter that is costs less? Or wait, more least I mean.
Using your logic. Every single plug and play system is now next gen. Graphics, Price and physics don't matter right? Graphics, AI, and physics are what make next gen. Physics being the most important. Whgy not buy a Gamecube for $250 and mod it to use the controller? I could mod both my ps3 and 360 right now to have the same exact controller functions with top graphics physics and AI.
/end
Except that it wouldn't be Nintendo's next console.. making it next gen (current gen now). The controller is STANDARD... and no, as long as it is a new console, I don't see how it's not next (current) gen.
Releasing a console does not make it next gen. There are plenty and I mean plenty of low end budget consoles out there being released all of the time. Why aren't they called next gen? They do not have the graphic quality, the AI quality or the physics quality that PS3 and 360 posess. But using your logic, they are all next gen. So if they rereleased the NES with a new controller, would you call it next gen?
Not taking away from the wii though, its just not next gen. It is last gen. It does nothing to improve on games except for a controller which has been done for plug n play type systems for awhile, just not entirely wireless. Last gen graphics, Last gen physics, last gen AI, motion sensor controller thats been used on games for awhile, just not standard to a big name console. That does not equal next gen.Â
