You could hardly call being millions behind dominating anything. The PS3 has always been in third place and will probably finish this gen in that position. Quoting worldwide figures and omitting the fact that overall it's ALWAYS been behind is deceptive at the best and delusional at worst. Well, here's the thing... 2007 we heard many Cows claim that the PS3 had games then, and it was a good system to own when it had zero AAAE's and a few AAE's. Now, Cows are claiming that Lemmings are "playing sales" and that "that's all they have"... When in reality the 360 has a AAAE this year and a good lineup of AAE's, along with a host of excellent multiplats (some of which the PS3 won't see).
Is this an admission that, yes, the PS3 was really not even close to worth owning its first two years, since PS3 06/07 were worse than 360 08, and apparently the 360's 08 is utter trash? Or are you guys going to concede that even if you ignored two years of better games, the 360 still has a very solid lineup for 08?

The console isn't made of plastic, it's made of electronic components. I mean, if it was made of plastic, it wouldn't do an awful lot.

How many AAE's came out on each system? That's a factor, unless you plan to play one or two games for the entire year. I counted that the 360 has 1 AAAE and 5 AAE. As for the PS3, 1 AAAAE, 2 AAAE, and 2 AAE. It is obvious that the PS3 is the winner here, a better console choice for this year, and that it had a better year than the 360 did. You are just argueing because you are mad that the PS3 is better this year. Remove your fanboy goggles and you can see clearer that it is not just 1 or 2 games for the entire year on the PS3.

But on System Wars everyone plays with whatever they can, no matter how miniscule. Sales are constantly used to a state of repition though. "We won because we have better sales." It really dosn't add up. It's never really about what actually matters around here, infact when people go off on tangents like sales and such this place gets very dull. It stops being about games and the systems themselves, and it all just becomes one big badly structured spreadsheet. Do we seriously have nothing else to talk about, like you know, how about the new God of War 3 trailer? PS3 fans say it has nice animation, Xbox 360 fans say terrible last gen graphics. I'm sorry but not every game needs a sequel. Sometimes sequels kills the quality of a great game's reputation. Okami was a great game and I'm fine with no sequels on that since it will be part of my memory of a great game forever. Releasing a sequel might ruin the overall quality of a franchise. It could also be the other way around, selling more does not equal to a great game either. Pokemon, Yugioh, WiiSports sold many but does that mean we all want sequels to those great games?
