ummm its called sweat ? your skin will shine like that if your wet and under the right lighting conditions.

So basically you're saying that every character is excessively sweating to the point where they drench the ground, their clothes, the sky and other objects around them take on the same characteristic shine as the character does so it's realistic?

I think the only case where bloom is overused is in Heavenly Sword in the examples you mentioned. In Gears, and i'm pretty sure this will also be the case with Mass Effect and Too Human, the bloom effect is only used in specific instances, it isn't pervasive throughout the entire game. HS is just bloom city, though. And Uncharted looks atrocious.THETRUEDOZAH

I noticed you only slammed the ps3 games.....

Anyway, yes, the people are too shiney in Uncharted, no they are not in Heavenly Sword, and Mass effect uses it way too much. I'll lay off Too Human because....yeah.
