It looks alright in screenshots. Very few games this gen impress me. My problem with Gears--while still a good looking series--is that it looks good while things are static, but then when you move the entire screen is blurry.

I think on a technical level the graphics are pretty underwhelming, but the art direction is incredible, so it balances out.

Reach looks great, easly in the top 20 on consoles, but the pics you posted look terrible!

The game looks decent.

Halo games look gorgeous. I much rather the bright colours of Halo then the supposed "graphics kings" in Crysis/Killzone series.locopatho

I thought the SP campaign was spectacularly good and the co-op was excellent.

MP was garbage, and the Halo universe in general is...well, basically US military worship. Imagine a game about US marines, and having it set in space. That's Halo. Complete with calling them "Spartans" like the movie 300, they glamorize these space marines. It sells like candy to middle America Republican crowd, but to some of us, it just feels disingenuous and cheesy.

Of course its not going to have the best graphics on consoles, its not a lame corridor shooter like Killzone. It has much bigger scale than Killzone, so I think it has amazing graphics considering what it does.

The great thing Reach has going for it, I would say is it's detail. kill and elite or grunt or any covenant zoom in and the detail is awe inspiring, that and the elites graphics wise to me wouldnt look out of place in say killzone or uncharted................ wait that be hell cool

I have heard alot of people comment about how Halo Reach and the Halo games in general are bad looking, and I can't understand it. How does this look bad?

it doesn't. But there are definitely better looking games.

It doesn't look bad. I didn't think Halo 3 looked bad either. They aren't graphical marvels, but they have an artstyle that they go for and succeed at.

Halo Reach doesn't look Bad, The Campaign IS Bad. But the Game itself really isn't.

This was Bungie's LAST Halo Game and it seemed like they blew it.

Its not the best, but it still looks pretty good.

1. campaign was made 6 months before release (lol)

2. Reach seemed like something bungie wanted to just finish quick as possible. I mean they most likely tired of the series at this point
