No its not, theres no way you can call a game that has worse graphics, sound, multiplayer, levels, and gameplay better. You cna like it better, but you cant call it better.

ive never noticed there wasnt rumble while playing motorstorm.  it makes up for not having rumble by having mud and dirt fly on the screen

I played Motorstorm once again, and this time with the tounted tilt control.

I played, I turned the car, it was fun.

Until I crashed.

It was horrible.

You felt nothing.

Sometimes you forget to realize how INTEGRAL rumble is to motion-sensing.

When playing Wii, it feels real. When the pinter moves over a spot, there is a small rumble on the remote. That makes it feels tactile.

That doesn't happen on Motorstorm, or any other PS3 game.

You feel extremely disconnected from the car when playing. Unlike Excitetruck, where you feel every bump on the road, because it rumbles slighty when you go over every bump on the road, all the way to giving a small rumble when you go over a small bump, to a big jarring rumble when going over a rock.

It feels horrible.

SCE better fix this, or it will be a very bad gimmick that is no better than what the DualShock 2 had.

Go to Wii for realistic immersion, not PS3. Go to PS3 for watching Blu-ray.

Unless SCE fixes this, it will not change.

there have been threads saying that it was just sony lying. search around, youll find them.

No its been confirmed. The lawsuit is settled, sonys said their putting it back in. Idc hat fanboys here are saying, the people that make the controller has said their putting it in.

All dualshocks feel horrible. I dont know why Sony has stuck with the design. They should copy m$'s controller.

I hope you are right, I feel that any executive of any company will say whatever will hurt the competiton the most at any particular time.

I don't care about rumble or motion. The Sixaxis feels nice and I like the triggers.

I like the fact that there is no rumble because rumble just reminds you that you are holding a controller an playing a game. Without rumble you can get lost in the experience and dont have a constant reminder that you are holding a controller.

that is a very unflattering pic of excitetruck. its a game too fast paced to get a good screenshot of.

agree, also to thsoe that said excite truck was bad, i disagree it is enjoyable to a degree (not good but not bad)

Good thing rumble can be turned off. It's good to have options. I didn't hear anyone complaining about the DualShock 2's rumble capabilities... did you hate that controller?

I liked the design, I just kept the rumble off. I like the sixaxis alot better, its lighter it has better shoulder buttons, it has the home button. The idea of "next gen" rumble is interesting. But after playing with the sixaxis and getting used to it I could go without rumble.

The wii's rumble is so miniscule I don't notice the difference. That's not to say I hate the wiimote, but I find them equal in terms of playability.
