I think you're lashing out because you feel now feel guilty about all the modding you've done over the years.
I bought my rig back in september and installed my fist mod in october (TW2) :lol:One mod is enough to feel guilt.
[QUOTE="Miketheman83"]I hate mods. They completely alter the way the game is supposed to be played. Its like altering a movie or book to fit your needs. Its not the way developers intended the game to be played.GreySeal9
I agree. Modding should be illegal. I'd go as far as to say that it's as morally problematic as piracy.

You'll have to explain how piracy is related to mod...It's just one word.
I'll give you two hints.
It starts with s and ends with arcasm.

You'll have to explain how piracy is related to mod...It's not. It's just morally as bad. Want to know why?Â
Because the Bible says that if you alter or change what's written in the Bible, you are comitting a grave sin. Apply that same principle to games and you'll see what's wrong with modding.Â

Even when it enhances graphics which obviously enhance the whole atmosphere/experience? Feeling really guilty right now, ohh nozz what i'm gonna do... oh i know, go download more awesome mods. You'll have to explain how piracy is related to mod...[QUOTE="Bebi_vegeta"][QUOTE="GreySeal9"]

Go ahead and mod if you must, but just remember: karma is a b!tch.I'm fast growing tired of the indie low pixel/cell shaded look with cutesy NPC's and creatures, and this mod just looks like an eye sore.

But, the DEV also changes the games, by sending patches and updates, there even giving us mod tools... they're all committing sins? Patching and updating is yet another thing that should be illegal. Not only is it wrong for a number of moral reasons but it also encourages developers to ship half-assed products. As for the mods giving the tools, let's think about this logically: if I give you permission to kill my kids, does it suddenly become okay? No, it doesn't.Wii version of Skyrim???

Wiirim doesn't look all that bad, I'd like to see how the weapons, monsters, and dragons look with that mod.

You have no clue of what you are talking about and shouldn't have a say in the matter.
Actually I think he has a good point , I agree with him and I have been gaming on PC for well over 10 years.
For the most part mods are something fun to f*ck around with but I prefer to play the games as the devs intended.
Yea it can be fun for a while to play CS with warcraft skills for example but nothing beats the original game,
Mods can very useful for MMOs like WoW wen you really need to preform on your top to down a hard raid boss but for a game like Skyrim? No thanks. The game is perfectly playable as it is (84 horus in here). Oh and btw the mod in this thread looks like utter sh*t.
Problem... b*tch?
jiz.

That's bulls*** and you know it. The way the game is "supposed to be played" is however you feel like playing it. If that means downloading a bunch of mods that completely change the way the game looks and plays, then so be it. Video games aren't movies or books; they aren't a static form of entertainment. There are thousands of ways to experience games and just because someone experiences it differently than the way the developers initially made the game doesn't make them wrong. There is no such thing as the way a game is meant to be played.
[QUOTE="Bebi_vegeta"]BTW, humans have more glitch then games.GreySeal9Not really. Also, think of what humans would be like if Bethesda developed us. I don't think we'd even be able to walk. Some people aren't able to walk.
