Even though the Creation Club is on other consoles, the Switch won't be getting it anytime soon. Todd Howard said:

"Skyrim Switch has a big community that we haven't supported the way we'd like." ...."They asked for mods," .... "they asked for Creation Club - 'When are we getting more stuff?'"

Eurogamer asked Todd what he was going to do to fix it, and he replied:

"Right now we're doing nothing," .... "People, they're on other things. Our Switch group did Fallout Shelter ... and that's done really well. I'm surprised at how well it's done."

Eurogamer asked if he would bring mods to Skyrim on the Switch and Todd replied:

"We are not actively doing that," .... "We would love to see it happen but it's not something we're actively doing."

It’s because switch has terrible online and a ton of hardware flaws.

The switch would constantly crash if it tried to use mods lol

I thought about re-buying Skyrim again just to play it on the go despite I own it on PC with mods. I change my mind and wasted 300 hours of my lifetime already, I'm too old to go through that again.

Yeah I'm not paying top dollars for a modless game.

Oh no, lacking Creation Club. Whatever shall I do...

Besides, mods on consoles are super-limited anyway and I never thought the Switch would get it for obvious reasons.

I find it hilarious that we slam the Switch version of Skyrim because it lacks something EVERYONE hates (Creation Club). What do you think Tatsunoko vs Capcom is a piece of s*** because it didn't follow Capcom's horrible DLC schemes (granted it couldn't because it was on the Wii, but still)?

It's a handheld version, which will as of this time, NEVER be as powerful for something like mods (hell, consoles are struggling with it as is). What were you expecting? And again, it's being dogged for missing Creation Club, which is again, being slammed for being a con by Bethesda. And for the latter alone... yeah, says a LOT about how you feel abut Nintendo now (then again, you even said you'd rather them dead).

what im scratching my head over is why isnt TES blades coming to the switch? its designed with mobile in mind. the switch should be well able to run it. it seems like the switch would be a nice spot for it.

....assuming the game isnt complete crap of course. hopefully they deliver a good game.

Of course those versions are broken, all Bethesda games are. I'm not the biggest fan of Ubisoft, and Ubisoft did deserve it, but I felt a little bad for them when they got raked over the coals for their broken game, while Bethesda is treated like a game god despite theirs.

The term "more broken"? Jeez louise.

Besides, I've seen far worse than what Bethesda had to offer with broken games.

It's funny because console mods are rare as hell except Bethesda.... in which case thier modding is limited by hardware and is largely inferior to PC modding...

YEt they churp up when an even weaker machine has the same problems.

Alot of the people posting are the same idiots that say "mods are bad" anyway... literally shit posting for the hell of it.

Perhaps Nintendo isn't locking anything down(like their voice chat and friend system), but I doubt they are helping the situation. Do you think Nintendo is taking time out of their day to talk to Bethesda about getting the creation club implemented?

And the odd thing is, missing Creation Club which was panned anyway, which again, might as well say this game sucks because it didn't add Capcom's DLC shams.

True, I guess... Though I dunno exactly how much man-power went into the port, and what the port cost. Probably a lot less, but it's Bethesda.

I love when gamer's think they know what something should cost. Because zero man power went into the port and all that labor is free.

@Bread_or_Decide: It could have been $20/$30 and sorry but Skyrim for $60 on a 7 year old game (well late port on a Nintendo console) sounds like robbery to me. But hey, it's anyone's money, so don't let me stop you or anyone else.

It's not Nintendo. Bethesda would have called them out like they did with Sony. It's Bethesda not caring since they didn't think the Switch version would do well, so it wasn't a priority to them.

$60 for any Bethesda game is robbery. They're full of bugs. Though for some reason gamers excuse their bugs while raking other companies *cough* Ubisoft *cough* over the coals for them.

Oh no Skyrim on Switch not getting the shitty paid mod service no one likes.

Not to mention the tablet hardware would struggle to even run the game well with mods on top of the game.

Hard to be insecure or butt hurt when you own all of the consoles. I love my Ps4 pro, still does not make Cow logic make any more sense. I know facts are hard. PC version and mod community utterly destroys the miniscule offerings of the Ps4 version of Skyrim.

The best part of owning all of the consoles is that you can look at all things objectively. For example I will be getting the Ps4 pro version of Dragon Quest 11 when it comes out and avoiding the Steam version or the Switch version. Why? The Ps4 version will come out day one with no issues and the PC version will be glitched to hell for a few weeks as all of SE games are. The Switch version will not come out for a year so why even think about getting that one.

Same logic can be applied to Skyrim. PC version has more mods and a WAY better modding community. PC version looks far better with a high end PC (I have one). So why would anyone brag about the inferior PS4 version?

I know logic is hard for fanyboys.
