I'm not going to start bashing the game until I actually pick it up tomorrow and start playing, but I'd honestly like to see some more third party titles that stand out. Theres only two promising ones right now.Vandalvideo

Jumping is part of fighting. There are many moves that Ryu, Ken, Kim, Tam Tam, and other major characters in major "real" fighting games have that involve jumping. And that's like saying Mega Man isn't a platformer because you do more shooting than jumping.

I just think it's crappy that they reviewed SSBB before some games that have been out for a while already. FFoW, Ao2, MLB...f50p90

I'd say its because Brawl has higher priority. Its one of the most anticipated games for the Wii, has been in development for more than a year, and has done quite well before its launch here.
