Although the days of 2d gaming are long gone, the gameplay itself never gets old. Respectfully disagree. I still play some old games, and they can be great fun, but I always enjoy them with the knowledge that they came out decades ago. They are great by the standards of their time, but current games slaughter them in length, depth, story, features, design, as well as the obvious improvements of graphics sound and online.
