So after 2 1/2 years

my 360 finally kicked the bucket. Survived a tour in the sandbox, being blown up by an IED...and it quit on me while I was playing Streets of freaking Rage 2.

Anyhow. I'm on my 2nd PS3. The other one did not survive 2 months in the arid deserts of Iraq. So, I finally decided to play my PS3 after it's been sitting around for about 4 months. Last game I played was GOW2. SO I popped in Uncharted. Meh game, gets a bit repetitive and stale gameplay, but fun nonetheless and the presentation of the characters was great.

Good impression, major recommendation. Next game. R&C. Utter failure. This game sucks on so many levels. It's trying to be quirky like Metal Arms but it fails oh so miserably where Metal Arms succeeded. The combat is uber repetitive, the platforming is boring...everything about this game just sucks besides it looks pretty and some of the guns are neat.

Next game. Resistance. Played the first level. This is as close to the 360 awesomeness of FPS that PS3 owners will feel. Unfortunately, close isn't enough...failure.

I'm considering just going to buy some PS2 games like RE4, Bully, Beyond Good & Evil and a few others.

Is there anything for the PS3 that doesn't suck fail besides Uncharted and HS?

BTW I can't do Warhawk. Too boring for me.

Dude if you dont like the offerings the PS3 has given you, just wait and get your 360 back. Uncharted, Ratchet, HS, RFOM, Warhawk, and Motorstorm are some really great games. Especially Uncharted and Warhawk.

I can't recommend you anything (nor can snyone else), your posts make you come off as an elitist casual gamer.

I would suggest some PS2 games like Persona FES and KOFXI, maybe even Gran Turismo 5 Prologue, but im sure you would write those off too.

Well, it just seems like to me he insulted every possible game that someone would suggest to him to play. I mean, I wouldnt post a thread saying "Hey guys, I hate Gears, Halo, Mass Effect, and Bioshock, but I was wondering if there was any good game for the 360 to play".
