So at this point do hermits even give a flying f**k about the crysis franchise?

Cloaking lasted shortly only if you were mindlessly running around. But chances are,if you're taking a stealth route in a game, you won't be running around, right?

Instead,you'll stay crouched,or walk slowly...

As for armor mode, pick a higher difficulty, and enter a firefight against several enemies without it...

You won't last 5 seconds.Armor gives you a fighting chance...

The abilities themselves were fine, but were thoughtlessly implemented. Armor mode was your default mode and basically functioned as your standard shield and for whatever reason, your other abilities took from the same pool. Get hit by a stray shot, and all of your abilities are null until you get to cover. In C2, you start in a neutral mode and it's not drained until you actively use it.

Mele functions the same as in C1 except it's more useful as it's easier to land a hit and you can use a power mele in any mode by long pressing (as opposed to double tapping). Contextual meles are for punting objects, something you couldn't do at all in C1.

Sprinting of any kind drained your C2 energy pool...

In Crysis, normal sprinting didn't,unless if you activated speed mode, which makes you MUCH faster...

Helped with swimming too, or flying off a ramp like a boss

Rocker6

But it drains it much slower (and slower still with mobility enhance enabled and it recharges faster) and is generally more practical. Also, sprinting would still be an active use of suit energy.

But you can't power jump while sprinting and if you get too much air, you die.

Running towards a ramp in speed mode, then quickly switching to strength and jumping at ramp's edge was awesome, when you managed to pulled it off ;)

Gotta love Crysis!

miriPlays

After some practice, you learn to quickly switch between modes in action, which allows you to pull of a lot of awesome stunts...

Run towards some ramp in speed mode, switch to strength and make a jump at the edge, then switch to shield in mid-air,and land liek a boss

But that's exploiting a bug, 9 out of 10 times you magically lose your momentum, you still take fall damage, and in general, the Nanosuit was much better implemented in C2. So there. I win :P

Suit yourself,it's a subjective thing...

C2 had solid suit implementation, but personally,I prefered C1's system more.

So there,no one wins :P

Either I'm right or we're more or less equally right. I'm not wrong either way, so it's all good:cool:
