Anyone played the escapists games on adventuregamestudio. Six days a stranger is phenomenal. I like the Gabrial Knight series and lucasarts games, full throttle is probably the best adventure I've played but it's a bit short lived.

Ah yes, the Chzo mythos (Five Days a Stranger, Seven Days a Skeptic, etc.) are easily some of the best freeware adventure games that I've played - although that's mainly because Yahtzee tied together three mostly unrelated games into an awesome, uh, 'saga'. Everyone reading this thread should totally check them out. :P
