Please stop using the beta as a reason to think the game will be shat.IGN played the newest build with no problems, no glitches. The game runs & works great.
With that being said MW3 does not have a beta & i gurantee you it will be the most borken game since mw2. MW3 itself is one giant glitch this holiday season.
WhenBF3 comes out problem free it will make everyone look bad for judging the game on a unfinished build
I also i dont understand why anyone would purchase mw3 even if you are the biggest cod fan. The MP will be the same as 4, waw, mw2, bo so why would you shell out $60 for an experience you already have. I will stick with the cod games i already have. Not shelling out more money for a giant map pack when thereare completely superior titles coming out this season

Interesting point, especially considering that BF3's beta feels exactly like BC2 on a new map, complete with map geometry issues, glitchy controls that suddenly don't allow you to aim in, OP SMGs, Shotguns that can be used as sniper rifles when you equip slugs.
Both series are stagnating. I mean there's really not much you can do with them at this point except try to bring new situations that are exciting. MW3 will likely be glitchy as all hell, and it will be the same laggy experience that every single CoD game this gen has been. That doesn't mean BF3 will be any better than its predecessor.
If anything, both these companies seem to excel at convincing their users that they've been doing more than twirling their thumbs for the past couple of years while the interns make their sequels.
You say use noob tubes = win.. i say spawn camp with a heli or 2 in the air circling the base = win. you say guns are unbalanced.. i say medic + lmg much?campzorI know these are common complaints, but I really did not experience them much at all. The annoying things were dying at the same time and the knife missing.
I would bet over 95% of the people who buy either game couldn't cares less about the story and would still buy either if they were MP-only,Mystic-GThen why aren't the two MP only? :o
[QUOTE="Mystic-G"] I would bet over 95% of the people who buy either game couldn't cares less about the story and would still buy either if they were MP-only,starjet905Then why aren't the two MP only? :o It's just a formality at this point, CoD campaigns are ridiculously short, and BF are poor as well, it's not were the fight is at.
So far BF3 is being such a major disapointment.
Whoever is waiting a BF2 like experiencie, prepared to be disapointed.
[QUOTE="nameless12345"]MW3 is McDonalds, while BF3 is a nice steak dinner.BF3 will be the better game but MW3 will get better sales.
Am I doing it right?

MW3 is a sandwich at Subway, BF3 is a cheeseburger.
I think we should've all suspected a blend of BF2 and Bad Company. As long as it's a multiplat with consoles, they have to make the gameplay concessions otherwise they'd be building two different games. So far BF3 is being such a major disapointment.

The only difference to me is the new vaulting animations. Not really much else different except when I play on PC, since I neve played BC2 on PC, so then it feels very different to me.
I prefer the more realistic types of FPS games over the sci fi ones, so I would love it if either this game, MW3, or any other one came out and worked very well. I just don't have faith in EA at this point to support DICE to the extent they need to produce an amazing game.
I know Activision has no interest in producing a quality product, so I have no hope for MW3. Unfortunately, at this point, I feel MW3 will end up being the better game, but both will be rather lousy.
