And no, MS does not blow Sony out of the water in 2007. Far from it. MS has... 2, maybe 3 "powerhouses" (Bioshock, Halo 3, Mass Effect) and the rest of the games appear to be filler to me. Sony's lineup though, has a ton of great games, and in my opinion, 2 "powerhouses" (Haze, Unreal Tournament 3). I would rather have a large consistant number of great games, rather than just a few, no matter how big they may be.

First of all, PS3 doesn't even have a "console exclusive" AAA, and suddenly it's going to get all of these AAAs? lol

Lair, Heavenly Sword, Ratchet, and Uncharted will be AA. UT3 and Haze will be AAA. Mark my words.

Xbox 360 will have Halo and Mass Effect that can kill all of those games, except UT3 (which will be 9.5 imo)

You missed Warhawk and Socom. With those PS3's is from a non-biased standpoint at prettymuch equal. From there it's your personal preferences in games. And then both has so damn many great multiplats out this holiday in addition to exclusives the PS3 and 360 by the end of 2007 are prettymuch dead equal in overall game lineups outside of your personal preferences. Each has plently of top exclusives and great games to play. And frankly with line-ups comparable PS3 is the obvious pick in hardware and future....

I played the warhawk demo. It was ok however, For me it wasn't worth a purchase.

Lair has already been preordered by me.

Hot shots isn't something I would enjoy... and neither is SOCOM and eye of judgement.

Folklore looks really interesting. I will decide a few weeks before it's release if I will get it or not.

Forme it's about even however I prefer the PS3 exclusives mainly because I loved the developers previous game i.e Drake to me looks to be a great game and I loved all 3 Jak games so it makes me doubly excited. On a similair note I didn't like KOTOR so Mass Effect isn't too exciting also I don't like the look of the combat or that sloppy framerate.

So for me I agree (yay a rhyme!)

The 360 has better games this fall, plenty of proven franchises with a couple of new IPs.The PS3 on the other hand has absolutely no proven frachise(except R&C).And Lair and Follore have already flopped if you by other sources.Sure GS may score them higher, but if game gets 5 and 6's elsewhere, it wont be getting 9's here.whocares4peace

I don't think its this years line up that new console buyers will be looking at.. it will be the ENTIRE lineup. So obviously the 360 has the advantage of being out a year longer. If you were going to buy a console.. and were looking at the 360.. would you really ignore stuff like Gears of War.. just because it came out last year?

Also if we are comparing the entire year line ups.. why not bring up Forza 2 (It did score 9.2..) for the 360 and Ninja Gaiden Sigma for the PS3 (Not exclusive.. but its as close as AAA exclusives come for the PS3).

Anyhow.. As far as year game line ups go: 360 wins IMO (Must finish the fight..), the PS3 does have a good line up though (better then 360's 2006 lineup IMO.. me want R&C)

AND there is alot of great multiplats for both systems, so no matter what console you own you should be happy.. right?

Sounds like waiting is fine if your waiting for a 360 game to come on the PC, but If your waiting for a known timed exclusive to come on the 360 from the PS3 its bragged about cause we have to wait....

Uncharted is the only one that looks interesting to me, but Ratchet and Clank is praised by Gamespot constantly so it will recieve a great score nevertheless. So no, the 360s line up is way better, but the PS3s 08 line up is looking pretty good early.goodlay

Halo 3, Bioshock, Mass Effect. None of these are going to flop and each may/should contend for Game of the Year. Lair will not. Ratchet and Clank will not. Only UT3 will contend. Drake and Haze, imo, won't make it out in 2007. Thus, your thread fails.

That's embarrasing. Lair looks average, UT3 is far better on PC, and Haze isn't staying exclusive. Uncharted, Heavenly Sword and R&C is all that I'm interested in.

Actually, I agree with this post. If it weren't for Ratchet and Clank, there would really be no reason for me to own a PS3. Heavenly Sword looks like it will be a fine game too though.

UT3 will be the best shooter released this year and this year it is not on the 360,not to mentionwhen it does make its way to the 360 it willlack modsupport. I don't care how many copies of Halo 3 are preordered or any of that the fact is UT3 will be better. As far as other games go nothing even comes close tolooking as good asUncharted IMO,that game just looks superb. Add Heavenly Sword, Warhawk, Ratchet and Clank, Haze, Socomand Time Crisis 4 (am also interested in Folklore after the teaser trailer but thats to be expected)all of which I'd rather play then any 360 game. It all comes down to personal preference in the endandI personally prefer the PS3 and it's library of games for the duration of this year and into the next.

I'm not so sure the lems got owned, you're still only getting a game marginally larger than a demo. Graphics look stunning, no doubt, but too bad it isn't a real full game.

Are you talking about all of 2007, or just the last couple of months of 2007? Because right now, PS3 is WAYYY behind. I have yet to find some great games for my PS3 besides NGS and Motorstorm. On my 360, I have several, that's just 2007 alone.

Pick your "3" amazing games out of this list....Two worlds, bio shock, blue dragon, eternal sonata, Halo 3, Lost oddyssey, Mass Effect Left 4 dead(maybe 08). Im guessing the "3" great games are Bio, Halo, and Mass but Eternal sonata and lost Oddyssey with be great games.
