So Cows and Lemmings, what excuses are you going to make during this months NDP?

never in my life have i witnessed more damage control than what has been demonstrated by the cows and lemmings in this thread

"but....but...its cheap!" - then why didn't the gamecube win last gen? it was the cheapest. face it, there are other reasons why the wii is winning - innovation being the main reason.

"but....but....wii is trash!" - then trash is outselling/outperforming your favourite console in the market. thats gotta BURN.

"but....but....i don't care!" - then why the hell did you enter this thread?

Just how much longer do you think PS2 will continue to receive new titles?  DS has all but killed it in Japan. 

Talking about sales this early in the Wiis life cycle is a bad idea. why? Becaus the N64 and the Gamecube also sold well to start. But somewhere along the way they stoped selling. Why? because nintendo can only make a few Quality games for thier systems each generation. Mini Games are great and party games can be fun. But you can only take so much of Mario.

So what do Cows and Lemming have to worry about? nothing. Both will still get more games. Better Quality games and Better online play and they won't be stuck looking like a baboon swinning a small stick around.

the wii has got an AAA exclusive - something the PS3 cows don't know anything about

of course the 360's got better games right now - but cows/lemmings act like the wi is complete trash - yet according to gamespot scores, the wii has got exclusives that outscore/outperform each and every PS3 exclusive available

When the Game cube launched it was not cheaper then the competitors by such a large margin as the Wii is today, thats not damage control thats fact, If you want to think price point has nothing to do the Wii success your delusional. Even Nintendo will admit that price point was in the mind with the Wiis design. While the other Consoles battle it out for raw graphic horse power, the Wii will be less powerful and less expensive with innovative game-play.

I love the Wii game-play but some times I wish the system was more powerful, it could have been, but the console would cost more and Nintendo wanted to keep the price down. Thats not a bad thing, but it's fact.
