I've read IGN's game forums before while bored at work ... and I must say that the fanboyism that goes on at this site is NOTHING compared to IGN's lobbies/boards.

Its probably because he did overrate it. I love the game but there's plenty of gripes I have with the game that were just over looked.

What doesn't sit as well with me is how you hide a bit of questionable condescending assertions in all that rhetoric. Essentially you pass your experiences as absolute facts with some statements. Namely the empty ones regarding "clever gameplay" or "memorable characters". The story isn't the main focus point, and the challenge is really subjective in what you consider "adequate". The lack of specifics is what makes me curious as of how far you managed to get in these games?

I only experienced the lower FPS and it never effected gameplay. And you not agreeing doesn't mean it's overrated.
