So, did the US Sony fans just all pre-order at once?

I know it's just Amazon, but...

The XB1 has steadily climbed on the "all 2013" best sellers list, and is now ranked #6 (PS4 ranked #3). And, no PS4 SKU is on the top 20 "current" best sellers list (XB1 currently 7th).

So, at least on Amazon, the XB1 is now beating the PS4 in pre-order sales (I guess that's daily?). Is this because all the Sony die-hards pre-ordered on "day 1", or is the XB1 catching the PS4?

Amazon split up the PS4 preorders into 6 different bundles, while XBox still has only the day one bundles. So basically, after 3 weeks XBox has yet to outsell the PS4 preorders that sold out in 10 hours the day after E3.

is the 360 not ahead of the ps3 in the uk? maybe its games are more appealing to certain audiences. your theory also falls apart seeing how the ps2 beat the xbox, the xbox and gc were neck in neck, and the wii beat the 360.

Either way you slice it, the 360 was more dominant than the PS3 in the 2 biggest markets in the world. Nothing you post can change that fact. Further more MS proved it didn't need Japan to be succesful while the PS3 did.

Cows should be glad the 360 didn't sell in Japan or the PS3 would have finished well into 3rd place. As it was the 360 finished 2nd or tied at worst and they did it without Japan.
