It doesn't look much different. I mean its higher res, and has nicer enviroments and textures. But its not graphically astounding.

If you downloaded it on XBL kid you would see "Alpha build" at the bottom of the screen. Still looks better than Resistance in it's Aphla state.

You really can't compare the two, once you consider the dev time for both games. Resistance would have looked just as good as the 360s top titles if it was released in Ps3s second year. I mean just look at MGS4, dev time does alot for games.

But CryTeks games have actually had decent gameplay. :| 

All the people shouting "ALPHA" are going to be dissapointed.Bungie have clearly stated that halo 3 will be no gears in terms of graphics.The graphics are not that important to them,the gameplay is.So it will basically look like a high def halo 2 with improved textures and physics.Is that a bad thing? Well not if you liked halo 2.

 

I think the graphics are dissapointing and cannot see them getting much better tbh,alpha or not.They are a far cry from the so called "in game" rendered videos we have seen with the ultra impressive music score.
