So, how many of you so called Hardcore Lems and Cows are getting Civilization?

It may be a dumbed down version of one of the greatest PC Strategy franchises, but it still scored AAA which makes it a must - own title for Xbox360 and PS3 owners who consider themselves hardcore. How many of you will skip this and just buy Madden? :lol:

I'm getting it on the Xbox360. I've been playing Civilization ever since the first game came out. However I doubt I will stop playing Civilization 4: Complete Edition because of this.

I'll wait untill its 20 dollars, then maybe even less. Thats how hardcore i am.LOXO7

I don't see the appeal of civilization, its an ok game, but not that fun imo. Guess I'm more into age of empires type of gameplay.Jack-o-Thompson

Age of Empires is far more casual than Civilization. Maybe that's why.

yeah maybe, also probably why I didn't like the witcher as much as oblivion T.T

I really liked the demo, but i still don't think the full game is worth $60. If it weren't for all the other games that i want that are coming out this year, i'd probably get it anyway, but i think i'll wait for a price drop instead.

It actually made me want to go back and play LOTR: BFME 2, which i honestly thought i wasted my money on but i'm actually enjoying it now.

Uhm, no. If I have to buy every AAA title for the 360 and PS3 to be considered "hardcore," then I don't want to be "hardcore."

Its much much deeper....a single game in the PC version can last 100 Hours if not more.

As I expected. I guess I could get alot more out of the series (and my computer) if I just upgraded my GPU and grabbed Civ IV sometime down the road.

If I have Civ 4 on my computer...would this game be worth it?

My computer's not a gaming computer so even Civ 4 runs slowly for me, and having nicer graphics and framerate would be good enough for me...but I would like to know if content and gameplay wise it's different from Civ 4.

The game is sold out. They are repressing discs to meet up with the "surprise" demand.

I personally haven't been able to snag a copy.:(
