So I don't play games on my PS3 anymore...

Is there something wrong with me?

I bought it a month ago and i beat mgs4, and i played the demo of resistance (meh) and i kinda enjoyed uncharted but i was kinda meh about it. The only thing i use it for is to play movies, because it's quieter than my xbox, and it plays blu-ray even though i did enjoy blade runner on the xbox in hd. I've come to realize that I have a blu-ray player that just happens to play a couple of games that interest me.

and it got me thinking on something else, honestly, where would the PS3 be if it didnt have a blu-ray player?

Well, it seems like you're insinuating that without bluray (to play movies), there wouldn't be many enjoyable games for people to enjoy (or enjoy for a long time) and it's main purpose is like that of a stand alone bluray player. Reread your OP if it and tell me it doesn't sound like that.

If I misinterpreted, well exclude that part about everyone being like you in my original post but my position still stands that many people enjoy their games and it will be in the same position as it is now probably, only cheaper, more affordable.

If you own a 360 it's only worth anything for the exclusives, and it has the worst exclusives this gen by far. Sell it and get a Wii

That's probably why. Since this gen has been mainly about multiplats thus far, whichever console you own them on is generally going to get the most play time. Both consoles have a strong exclusive lineup for this fall though.

Please, the 360 just got two AAE just a couple of weeks ago. For the longest it was running on the flop of a game, NG 2. September was a slow month for the PS3 but October has LBP and Socom. I am sorry but AAE games are not hard to come buy, they are plenty of AAE games for all systems.

It is quite hard to justify owning both a 360 and a PS3. There are so few exclusive games for either.

In reality whichever one you prefer be it for the controller, friends, online etc is going to be the one you buy the games for. The other is not going to get much play time, beyond the occasional exclusive.

No there will always be exclusives, however third party exclusives will be a rarity, exclusives will be riding on 1st and 2nd parties.

I've played heavnly sword at my friend's place but it looked too easy, but i guess i can wait for god of war 3.

See, this is Sony's problem, the 360 is always going to have the upperhand with multiplats, not graphically (not going into that debate) but in terms of sales, and to be honest the 360 is rolling exclusives out faster than Sony is, because Sony is playing catch up still in terms of number of games,exclusives and online content and online play.

I'm with you about the games, the only games I'm really crazy about since buying a PS3 are COD4 and Madden 09. I bought the first Resistence and honeslty think Metroid Prime 3 is vastly superior in almost all aspects, from visual appeal to Gameplay.

I hope Midnight Club LA gets great reviews, otherwise I'm glad I still have my Wii.

When you are debating about whether a game is good or not I think its fair to refer to other sources (like gamerankings for example), but expect short shrift if you want to use that as a way of saying that a game didn't flop or is AA/AAA when its not on GS.

I hope that sort of clarifies things, but as ever with SW theres no hard and fast rule that people are ever going to abide by. Fanboys want to use what makes their system looks best.
