No, the old ones freaking sucked! I'm referring to the NES and SNES era. If you are talking about the PS1 era, starting with Final Fantasy VI or VII, then you're right.

Final Fantasy III DS is one of my least favorite games of all time. I can't decide if it is number 1, though. Animal Crossing: Wild World and Rampage: Total Destruction give it quite the challenge.

I disagree...FFVI is one of the finest FF games out their. I also enjoyed FF 4,7,8,9,10 and FF7:CC

Edit: Ofcourse this is just my opinion, i know a lot of gamers that love the newer ones over the classics. However i think this can be as a result of them joining gaming during the PSX, PS2 era.

No, sorry, I meant the prime era of Final Fantasy started with VI or VII. Take your pick.

And sadly, yes. FF series has been going downhill since a long time.

Try FFVII. Its outdated now so too late for you to experience the game and apreciate it. But that game is definitely one of the best RPG I have ever played. And I generally dislike Japanese RPG's.

You have some valid points if you dislike RPG's, but your bashing is overdoing it.

Final Fantasy is a solid series.. and FFX is my favorite game. :p

The game reeks

The characters are emo, the graphics are horrible, the plot is ridicolous, the gameplay is disgusting, the voice acting is hilarous, the storyline makes you wanna watch plan 9 from outer space and enjoy it, hat guy heaven or w.e his name is is crap. How can anybody enjoy these games?
