so i just played Rock Band

Wow what a great game id go so far as to say better than Guitar Hero 3 cause you dont get that grea feeling of playing with friends as you do with Rock Band also it might be because of the fresh songs (finally) i was getting a little sick of Guitar Hero 3's set.

so what do you guys think Guitar Hero or Rock Band?

Ugh, party games.

I hate rythem games, I find nothing fun about them.

Yeah rock band is much better than Guitar Hero.

I really think that the strat is the best out of all the guitar peripherals.

Rock Band is possibly the most underrated game on this forum at the moment, Ill assume because a lot of people cant afford the game which is understandable...

but seriously this has to be one of the best games I have ever owned, I just cant wait til my next family get together to show off my new and improved drum skills ;)

Rock Band is better in every aspect then Guitar Hero, it's a fact if you ask me. Guitar Hero is a great franchise still, Rcok Band is just better.Sacred-Snow

you know i noticed something about the Guitar in Rock Band it that the strummer is very stiff (at least for the lefty) and it about broke my thumb off but i was singing mostly anyways so no real matter

Rock Band is pretty good, but just wait until Activision comes out with Guitar VILLAIN. That'll put Harmonix back in their place.

Really where GHs and esp. GH3 is the griddy hardcore Guitar game ive come to like rockband more because it brings back the fun in playing rythem games i dont really care what my score is anymore now that i play rockband i suck at guitar hero now cuz i never play it but rockband brought back the fun unlike go kill yourself GH which is still fun but i mainly do that for high scores and Rockband just flat out rocks and like i said really brings back the fun into the genreCommanderTy

i agree i think the Guitar Hero Franchise has become much more hardcore than it should be and Rock Band is just fun which is why i play games to begin with

yeah i know i liked how they released oasis but i didnt understand the choices, i mean with all the amazing oasis songs out there that would have been so much better for rock band like rock & roll star, or super sonic or whats the story morning glory, i like live forever and dont look back in anger but others would have been so much better for rock band, but thats the main problem with the game that its always the more popular songs not the songs that would be more fun or all around just better for people to play.

Most of the fun of being a rock god with very little of the practice. I can't get enough of Rock Band, especially when I have my friends over and the brew starts flowing. (Too bad they never bring beer and drink all of mine, but hey, friends are never perfect.)

Guitar Hero, though... they just ruined that series with 3. It's clear that Harmonix is where the talent was.

RB is definitely > GH3. Rock Bands songs and the audio quality of it's songs are better, and playing the drums is awesome. Especially once you get the kick pedal down, you can really have a ball with them.

Yeah, I like Rock Band better than Guitar Hero.

I bought it for my GF for Xmas (PS3). Now she wants me to buy it for the 360 so that we can have even more people at the house.

lol well its too expensive for me thats why it took so long for me to play it but yeah its great

Guitar hero = Harder and better songs IMO

Rock band = Easier and more fun to play and better downloadable song's

Now I played GH2 on the 360 loved it amazing, Then I got GH3 on the Wii. Have to say I liked Gh3 better than 2 due to the song list however I felt playing GH3 on the Wii was a tad more difficult. I felt my timing was off due to the fact in order to get the note you had to hit sooner because the signal had to go from the guitar to the wiimote to the Wii it self.

I was on campus and they had a contest and I won Rock Band for the PS3 I was so happy the game is incredible. I find the guitar looks cooler but I dont care for the fact the buttons rap around the enire guitar so you accidently hit them. The fret buttons at the bottom is cool. THe drums are awesome just like real drums but they are definatly the hardest to play. Vocals are ok. I love how you can download new songs. ROCK BAND IS AMAZING

Dude above has it correct. If you chop an axe there is NO comp. GHIII is your tune. I own both. cock band doesn't hold a f'n candle to gh3 axe wise. Late.NOWHEREFADED120

Just because GH can throw hundreds of random notes at you doesn't make it better.
