Just say, hey man I want the DMC on the 360 because I prefer the controllers and the console. Then if he doesn't preorder it for you just talk to the manage. Simple right?

Just to preorder DMC4 for the 360. I wanted that limited edition they had. So I go up to the counter and tell him that I wanna preorder. As he is at his computer typing, he asks if I have a PS3. I tell him yeah. All of a sudden he tells me that its better to get it for the PS3 because thats were the series started. I tell him no because I like the 360s controls better.

So he keeps trying to convince me that the PS3 version is better and all this bullcrap. And I'm like I dont care. The guy still wouldnt let me preorder it and starts saying how it is tupid of me to get it on the 360, and then he starts saying if Halo was on playsation people would still buy it for the xbox, Which had nothing to do with what was happening.

At this point I am losing my patience. I start yelling at him to stfu and just let me preorder. And then the guy says that they have run out of 360 versions of DMC4. I know he was lying. So then I grab his tie and pull him towards my face and say that If he doesnt do his job right I would land a punch on his nose. At that point security came in and kicked me out. Yeah that sucked.

I mean, why do people who work at EB/ Gamestop have to be such jerks just because they are hardcore fanboys.

Worst of all I didnt get my preorder limited edition. EB is the only place I know that has it, and I don't want to go back with that a$$hole in there.

I've never gone as far as to assault an employee, but I know what you mean about that place being totally unprofessional. One time I walked in and was looking at used gba games and this pimple faced looser behind the counter was working with used games and was actually scratching the used PS2 games on purpose! He was going on about how the 360 was the console of the future and how anyone who thought otherwise was not a gamer.

I'm going to call BS on this story. I find it hard to believe that a clerk at a low paying game store refused to sell you a copy of a game because you chose the wrong system. Why would they care?

If it IS true, this is why I no longer shop at those stores, I prefer either bestbuy, circuit city or my workplace. Someone is alwasy bringing in a game that they finished.
