So is anyone still in denial that KZ2 will be the best looking console game?

I mean outside of crysis its obvious that this is going to be THE best looking console game. It looks like theres no room for argument anymore. Just denial. So is anyone out there still saying the likes of Gears 2 or RE5 look better?

Or is it unanimously accepted (as it should be) that KZ2 will be console graphics king?

Sorry, those titles below, all on 360, are destroying Killzone 2 visuals, emptyness and tiny levels, in both detail and scale with ease, it is not even miles close

And another thing i had to bring up. For the people saying this game doesnt bring anything new. Maybe not in features or innovations but this game has the MOST realistic looking combat I have ever seen. I have played crysis at highest settings but that doesnt help the enemies from having bad animations and physics. Crysis has amazing destructability physics but on people its just weak.

Never before has a game looked so real when it comes to spraying rounds into a few soldiers up on a ledge while there are explosions going off everywhere and their bodies crumple or fall below. The only game I can think of to have such visceral combat was FEAR.

So you ask what does kz2 bring new? Basically the most realistic animation to hit a video game.

Killzone 2 (tiny empty looking world, how exiting !!!)

Killzone 2 is a shooter, did you expect it to be open world? Rhetorical question. It was not the aim of GG to make it an open world shooter experience. Both those games look no different than Oblivion graphics, which were a real beauty.

Also, I haven't seen videos for those two 360 games, however from what I see, Killzone 2's animations offer another layer of realism and jaw dropping visuals that I don't see in any other game. The way characters and environments react to bullet shots, movement, animations, etc are all extremely well done.

Killzone 2 seems to have the graphical edge. I haven't even heard of those games until now, they both sound interesting too.

Since you said console graphics, Killzone 2 seems to be the popular choice, but overall, I'm sure we would get a real System War going if PC games were put into the equation

Fable 2 :lol: and only one of those two worlds screens was impressive. The rest looked horrible. So it was probably a bull shot. And we all know that the first two worlds ended up being one of the worst games this generation. None of those games look better than KZ2blues35301

As for PS3 lineup, is mediocre for me, only small games, with tiny last gen levels, while 360 gets the vast worlds above, the real next gen titles

Don't they say that for just about all multiplats that appear or will appear on the PC and PC always has better graphics by a longshot.

Those games looks miles better actually, look at the vastly bigger scale, detail etc, Killzone 2 looks small, flat and empty, with only some blocky buildings in some tiny levels, looks totally mediocre really, those games destroy its visuals

If a game gets huge scores across multiple sources, it's most likely not mediocre. You can't have your cake and eat it too my friend.

Now, it's one thing to say that Killzone 2 doesn't have the best graphics on a console, but a complete other thing to say that it "LOOKS MEDIOCRE". I hope you aren't referring to graphics when you say that K2 looks mediocre.

Gamespot score is the flop, not Fable 2

And anyway, it looks vastly better than Killzone 2, has vastly bigger levels and vastly more detail around, it is not a flat emptyness and tiny levels like Killzone 2 and MGS4

Again, try playing the game. It is clear you haven't. Pretty much every gaming site gave the graphics award to MGS4. You'd see why if you played the whole game. Act 1 and 2 (pictured by you) arent that impressive compared to the rest of the game. Yea Crysis warhead looks better but sites gave it to MGS4 because they gave it to Crysis last year. And warhead is essentially the same game graphically.
