Yet its the fastest selling console on release day. And in case you didn't know, look at your atlas. Europe is bigger than just the UK. Much bigger. Price drop is only in the UK and only in a few stores/sites.

Why don't you people wait atleast a year and atleast 1 holiday season before making stupid claims. I bet that the ps3 sold more units in its first 3 months than the 360. The wii is a cheap fad that won't get the people that buy lots of games and it'll be not too long before the graphical difference will make all those people regret ever getting one.

Wow you are blind.. How can you have the 360 under Europe when it has only sold 3 million within the year and some change its been there and I love how you omit PS3 from Japan when it is clearly doing much better in Japan then the 360 is doing in Europe.

As for the Wii outselling the PS3, are you suprised.  Name one region where the Wii is not outselling the competition.  But that doesnt help MS.  How about finding an article where the 360 is outselling the PS3 in Europe, oooh wait thats right its not.

And as for the price drop that is the stores call and it was a holiday sale, amazon and tons of other places have it at the normal price, the price is not dropped the store is just deperate for customers.  Play.com did the exact same thing for the 360.  Trust me no company dumps its products if it doesnt sell out in 2 weeks.  If that were the case my Best buys would be empty.

Facts are that the PS3 outsells the 360 by around 5-10X in Japan, and is currently still outselling the 360 in Europe.  The PS3 is also not very far behind the 360 in its only region where the majority of its fanbase is which is NA.

Face it....Sony getting sales from THREE regions will kill the 360 getting most of its sales in one.
