Its not a failure for the console. The way it works in SW is a game is hyped and if it fails to make its hype then its a flop. IN NO WAY DOES IT MAKE IT A BAD GAME. The problem for the PS3 is that alot of its game have failed to meet the hype on GS recently.

It's a very simple concept: it's System Wars, not System Friends, and the console most deserving of bashing gets bashed. It's the natural law. Cause and effect. Sony caused the PS3 to fail, the resulting effect is that both are mocked incessently.

cows here hyped it 8.0-8.5 (AA) and alot of people were very angry about that after manycows included it in every AAA list they made before and after the hype thread. Anyways back on topic Sony and the PS3 do deserve a little bashing (hopefully so they can learn from their mistakes) since this gen they've completely failed (so far) to impress us gamers,it also seems sony isnt even trying anymore since they released more/better quality games on the PS2 last year before the PS3 came out than PS3's first year out (hope that made sense :?).

So far in the last 8-9 months the devs for the ps3 have constantly delay games which HURTSincome for the company and makes us the gamers impatient since well,its our money and we want to get our paws on the game asap.It's like if the NFL delayed the superbowl tell their fav team could get in it people would kind of get pissed(lame comparison I know).
