this should be in a blog and most of those problems are your own fault

Explain to me why it is so fantastic again?
The first problem I ran into was the code not being excepted the first 3 times.
Then it forces me to make another profile in order to activate the account. Not giving me the choice of putting all my hard earned work onto my already existing profile that I have had for 2 years. Thus, making all my work for nothing, and complicating everything.
Finally I decided to give up the fight after I call customer service and find out that there is NO way to transfer my achievements, gamerpoints, or anything to my other profile.
After that fiasco I finally decide to just enjoy online. The chat is fuzzy and halfway inaudible. And all the games functions to make an online match are practically the same as on PSN!
Then I decide to check out the store, it's contents are weak, lacking, and the "news" is outdated by at least a couple of weeks. The screens are confusing and cluttered with no real sight of organization. And I spent a $150 bucks for this?
So please, explain to me what constitutes the huge price tag? And why is it that Microsoft feels the need to make things as difficult as possible to maneuver, contact, and deal with? To go on PSN which is free and doesn't have cross game chatting it was as easy as; put in email, put in username, do you want to put on a credit card, and go at the store. I would have much rather gotten all of the free content, less clutter, and ability to KEEP MY CONTENT FROM BEFORE GOING ONLINE. I mean really this is beyond ridiculous and Microsoft acts like you can't live or shouldn't have had the console without LIVE. They need to get their act together about this whole thing.

"The first problem I ran into was the code not being excepted the first 3 times". -So you are incapable of doing something as simple as keying in a code, and you are blaming this on XBOXLIVE? I think your beaf is with the school system.
"Then it forces me to make another profile in order to activate the account". No. It didn't FORCE you to make another profile, you just screwed it up. I put live on a profile I had used for several years, and nobody else had this problem. So again, it's not XBOXLIVE's fault that you are incapable of doing anything right.
I call customer service and find out that there is NO way to transfer my achievements, gamerpoints, or anything to my other profile." -This is a direct result of your previous stupidity. Why would you be able to transfer achievements gamperpoints etc to other profiles? That would eliminate the reason for being able to create multiple profiles.
The chat is fuzzy and halfway inaudible. And all the games functions to make an online match are practically the same as on PSN. -No, the chat is fine. Do you see any other complaints about the chat? If it was really inaudible, don't you think MS would have done something about it in the last 5 years or so? My guess is your Internet sucks...but if cursing XBOXLIVE makes you feel better, continue and see where that path gets you.
"The screens are confusing and cluttered with no real sight of organization." -Again, a reflection of your stupidity. I think I see a pattern forming here.
In conclusion, you screwed up and didn't follow the instructions. Have a good day.
Lol, Now thats ownage.
I wonder if the TC bakes cakes with the amount of FAIL that he posted. Anywayi use both people who use PSN and Xbox Live gold know which is better i dont have to go into it. But it is better organized PSN for the life of me does not organize their new content in new releases so i have to sift through demos of both psp and PS3 games and if i want to look for new content just for ps3 i gotta go through 6 squares of A-F G-H blah blah blah. Why just make a new release section of content for both PSP and PS3 seperately but the amount of content on Live dwarfs the PSN.
PS: Dont include home cause home is GIANT piece of fail that should have had its money be used to make the PSN as a whole better and faster or made to make Gran turismo 5 come out in 09 instead of 2010 for japan and who knows for the US and EU.

How so? I never experanced anything on XBL that said "Wow, that was alot easyer then PSN"
XBL is better intergrated in the games and other uses. It is not always about features. PSN is OK, but it has very little synergy.
Once again, WTH are you talking about... I dont see any differeence playing a game like COD on one or the other.
Reviewing and replying to messages is a chore.
No it's not :|
No cross game invites, heck, I cannot invite a player to a game from the dashboard (sending a message is not thhe same).
Why is sending a message not the same?
All of the features "PSN has" that is also on XBL are tacked on after the fact.
First and foremost, playing games online aren't "tacked on" and other features are there regardless of your disappointment that they are.
Trophies are clunky, and imo uninspring. Why do I have to be online to earn trophies?
Ok now somethings wrong with your storybecause you don't need to be online.
Cross game chat is a nice feature, as is the party system on XBL, but the biggest thing XBL has that PSN is lacking is synergy and the way PSN was pieced together, it will never have it and therefore always be inferior.
It's come round again.. "party chat". A feature that circumvents game design (especially in the case of COD SaD).
You can tote that Synergy word around all you like but the simple fact is that your opinion, even if it is a popular opinion, don't make it fact. Many people, like myself, enjoy the streamlineinterface of PSN. I don't find any of the features difficult to use and I have never experienced any benefit, lag wise, from XLB.
Lets just say that you find it hard to believe someone likes PSN just like I find it hard to believe someone is happy to pay for XBL.

The 360 microphone it comes with is pure crap.
My friends who have 360's always have to buy new ones because either their dog ate the foam, or they stepped on it by accident. And also, my one friend's controller broke where you plug in the microphone, and he had to get a whole new controller.
And for everyone I know with a PS3, they bought a Blue Tooth headset for $20, which is cordless, more durable, more comfortable, and better quality than the 360 one.
For me, I just so happen to have an extra one for my phone lying around my house, so I didn't have to buy one, and also I use my headset for Ventrilo on my computer too. My headset has lasted me almost a year, and it's still in perfect condition, while the 360 headset lasts around 6 months.

I know he should have been more cafeful, but it's stupid how the microphone goes through the controller.
Also, I am not lying. I could careless if someone over the internet doesn't believe me, because it's the truth.
Also, you bring up the point of the $30 wireless one. Like I said before, you could get a Blue Tooth one for $20, and use it for your computer, PS3, phone or any other things. The 360 wireless one only works for the 360, and it's $10 more. How does that make sense?
If I remember correctly, your offline account is silver by default. I do agree with the voicechat being fuzzy (depends on the others mic, your mic, or even the game) and the crappy interface. :\ MS should've stuck with the previous dashboard...NXE is just more cluttered and probably slower.

lol wow that is the highest amount of fud i've ever heard.
The 360 mic that comes with the system is cheap and the examples of this are?
A dog chewing on it.
Someone stepping on it.
some one shoving the mic in so hard they dmg their controller?
LOL WOW
And some how a bluetooth headset is so durable it can survive....
A dog chewing on it, someone stepping on it, and someone shoving a usb dongle or usb recharge cable into the usb port with enough force to break the usb port.
and sorry no a 20 dollar bluetooth headset is not better if your paying 20 dollars then your buying the bottom of the heap cheap bluetooth they aren't durable the sound quality is crap, its all around a bad idea to pay such little money for a high tech device.
Haha I think your making up half the stuff that happened to you. I've never had any problems..ever. Never once had to call customer service or anything. just a tangent: I hate blind friend invites, like I'm supposed to remember who you are by playing one match with you last week. Type out a message and ask you lazy bastages

Yes but for some games having mics imo is absolutely neccesary.. Such as Borderlands.you xbox fans always give this response and then dont back it up with anything, and when you do its party chat. I took my PS3 to my mom's over Christmas and didn't go online with it. While there, I earned 15 trophies. When I got home and went back online, they synced onto my PSN account. In other words, you're completely wrong.
