Please don't buy Fable 3 guys. You'll be supporting an idioticcompany that doesn't deserve your money. I loved Fable 2 and made the mistake of purchasing 3 full price. How they can justify essentially stripping features without adding any worthwhile new ones, calling it a sequel, and packaging it for $60 is beyond me. Complete trash. You'd be better off withtwo copies of Withcer 2 than one of each.

I think the reason people are buying Fable III is to convince Microsoft to bring more games to PC (like Alan Wake and Forza 4) than the game itself. :P

I doubt it. Many people here forget to realize that the PC users here are in a very small minority compared to the amount of people that use Steam.

Just because we loathe it, doesn't mean all the other casual call of duty players loathe it. There are tons of casual players, I see them all the time from my L4D/2 days, and they all play very casual games like CoD, etc.

Gamespot PC gamers =/= complete PC user base

And I highly doubt many of those casual gamers even know about many of the games we mention on this site. Hell, most of them have never even heard of Stalker until I mention it to them, and those are the people on my friend's list.

There are differences, which is why some developers simply do not bother going to consoles. I mean flight simulators (not the arcadey type but the actual simulator) on top of not being able to go on consoles, even if they could they wouldn't make too much $$$ because it wouldn't be accessible. I agree with one thing though, PC gamers like to say they won't stand for certain things then go out and buy games like MW2 and BO in droves! Along with the DLC to.

'You never know what will or won't sell on consoles until they are an option. Look at FPS, before Halo on xbox they were an after thought on consoles. Mainly a PC genre. Now they are all over the damn consoles. Why? Because regardless of platform gamers like good games. And alot of the PC exclusive genres are damn good.i5750at4Ghz

GI and PD proved FPS could sell on consoles, halo just cemented it. Though that's a genre you could see alot of people liking, simulators on the other hand... I dunno, it doesn't seem like the type of genre that would do work well on consoles. They thrive on user generated content, are very complex and at times.. very buggy but they don't cost an arm and a leg to make. I don't think there would be enough of a userbase to cover the cost of putting those type of games on consoles.

Anyway. In my little time here, all I've been seeing from PC gamers is "We don't want console games, they are trash" But all of the sudden a console game arrives and now they are storming to buy it? It shows that console, pc, handheld gamers are all hypocrites. Sad.

Your mistake is in assuming that anyone who posts on this forum is in any way a representation of the demographic in the real world. You would think the title of the forum would be an indication of the fact that people come here more or less to argue about the respective gaming systems/games, so it is not at all surprising to see people attacking other systems/games. This is not something that is restricted to "PC gamers".

I personally have a list of games on the console I would love to see on the PC, but unfortunately Fable III is not one of them, and I suspect this is true of the majority of PC gamers.
