So PC has gone 2.5 years with 1 AAA Exclusive (not an expansion pack)

if a game is terrible on a console but good on PC then i consider it to be PC exclusive...

For your information, TC, the gen began in 2005, expansion packs count and we use GS scores, no matter how much we disagree with them.

Games like Crysis prove that graphics don't make up for rather dull and reused gameplay, however this year it seems like its going to be one amazing year for the PC gamers with games like sc2, dawn of war, diablo 3, empire, and plenty of others looming around! That 'damage control' has some truth behind it, even though it's used far too often. The only way console fanboys in this thread can argue against PC gamers is by creating 'rules' that put the PC at a disadvantage. Not only does it have the most AAA/AA exclusives but it has the best. Crysis, Company of Heroes, World in Conflict, Sins of a Solar Empire, etc.

you're holding back PC AAAEs just because they don't have enough reviews though. It's a bit funny that even using GR you couldn't make a decent argument, you had to make up at least two more rules to finally achieve your result. Using this method one can always pick and choose rules in a way that will make his platform the best one out there .

Yet expansions have more content than most retail console games. They feature new camapigns, units, maps and usually graphical effects. I don't see why they shouldn't count. Most of the time Gamespot copy's and pastes the consoles reviews to the PC version, they don't review it individually (look at Left 4 Dead). I don't believe the PC has higher standards, only for RTS games, but that's my opinion and many people would disagree with it.

Luckily expansions do count. Not sure about XBLA games. PC wins every gen though, so there's not much point debating that.

it still isn't a full game. And the only AAAE XBLA game 360 has is GeoWars2..which seriously compared to add-ons...

There are many expansions packs that add more content to a game than what Gear of War 2 has. Expansion packs upgrade graphics, add hours of extra gameplay and add more multiplayer option/maps. I still don't see why they shouldn't be counted.

Of course PC has more games, more good games than these consoles because it's much older platform. I play mostly only old games on PC nowadays. Right now I'm playing Age of Mythology to remember Ensemble.

Everytime a new gen starts, the PC is forced to follow it, for some dumb reason. Even taking that into account, the PC has 71 exclusives above 8.0, whereas consoles as a whole only have 40. This gen.
