[QUOTE="tagyhag"][QUOTE="Arach666"] Yeah,the only thing is....that won´t happen.Birdy09

Please do not judge his crystal ball. :P He has clearly played both games so leave him be. On topic: We'll just have to wait and see just how good the game is.

Ironic you say that when your all fanboying up ToR when the footage clearly shows what it is.... and for what? its star wars... and RPG developers that have no MMO experianceand are not known for great combat or itemization. but oh well.

If it was the other way around that excuse wouldnt be used in FF14s favour.

Blizzard had no MMO experience prior to WoW and that was a TOTAL failure. :P

Ok, come on now, have you even PLAYED a Bioware game? Specifically Baldur's Gate and Neverwinter Nights? :lol:

I'l give you the first one, but the second one? Outside of thier D&D based games (ergo DA and ME) thier itemization is appauling. and well, Isometric combat in general is not even fitting in within the MMO genre. and its down to preference, you can laugh but I and many others find BG and NWN gameplay to be a snooze... but the other merits made them worthwhile. I would still like to know what im ignorant to aswell, if anyone wants to fill the bill :P

I would like to know who those "many others" are. :P It might be a vocal minority but a minority nonetheless.

Ah but you cant be sure can you? all you may have is game sales, but you have no idea of how many actual bought it for the "thrilling combat", not to mention the majority % that have played it illegally and thier opinions :P. But you've made your point, but back on the rails. what am I missing about ToR?
