So Red Dead Redemption has the biggest world in a video game?

BUT most of Just Cause 2's map is just mountain terrain with nothing but roads and not much to do. In RDR you actually have many different live cities with NPC's revolving around their own lives and there is tons of stuff to do out in the deserts.

You can use DaggerXL to run Daggerfall on modern systems, but it's still on early development. It's not possible to create characters and interact with NPCs yet.

Or you can just download a DOS emulator..

Just Cause 2 has a gigantic map... Red Dead Redemption, is bigger than SA, but I don't know if it's as big as JC2.

i think just cause 2's world is bigger, it should be 1000 square kilometers from what i recall

Well seems Daggefall is the winner. I think Just Cause 2 is still bigger than RDR if your talking recent games only.

I bet it will be bigger than GTSAndreas. However, it probably won't be as big as JC2, which appears to be the modern "Size king", the island of panau is basically sized as if it was a real world large island lol.

But those seem to be dwarfed by some old games like Daggerfall... but thats cheating a tad imo as Dagerfall randomly generated a bunch of areas. And I suppose probably flight sim would also have a MASSIVE world, and most of them you can technically go anywhere on it... but again imo thats sorta cheating =p

But I think the world of RDR will be pleeeeenty big enough. I never owned GTSA but what i saw of it it looked mindblwingly massive, so if its bigger than that there wont be any shortage of stuff to do for a looong time.

Dude seriosuly. JC2 is awesome I cannot deny, but what the he meant was that RED DEAD is way more detailed
