I'm surprised DS is winning this poll.

Dead Space cleans the floor with RE5 (if you play RE5 alone). Playing it co-op, Dead Space is only a little better. Both extremely awesome games in my book (RE5 in co-op).

Remember the days when Dead Space was laughed at when compared to the coming storm of greatness that would be Resident Evil 5? Man, how times have changed...

Probably because everyone thought RE5 would match the formula and feel of RE4 back then...

DS was a shallow experience in my book. While some concepts and ideas are great, the story/characters pale in comparison to RE5. DS is one of those games you beat once and just never touch it again, Developers could have done more concerning replay value. Have some mode similar to RE's popular mercenaries..atleast, to make up for its shortcomings. If you want to make a game all about single player, make sure the story has depth and interesting characters to keep you entertained. Slambo86
Are you seriously saying that RE5 has a good story? With good characters? Because that would be insane. The characters had NO personality in the slightest, and the story was just plain ridiculous. I can't even imagine how someone could think it's 'good' in any way. RE5 is only good for the gameplay, and thankfully that's where it matters most.
