So Shadow Complex is out in just over a month, score predictions?

The next game from Epic Games and Cliffy B, Shadow Complex is out on August 19th. I'm really looking forward to it, should be well worth the 1200 MS points. But score predictions...

doesnt look very impressive. i say a 7.5- 8. if this game gets a 9.0 then expect no big game to get less than a 9. i doubt it can be as fun as crash commandoAndrovinus

I've actually heard almost nothing about this game, but the name is cool so I'm gonna say 8.0.

Crash Commando and Shadow Complex are nothing alike.

To be honest, I dont know how they will score a title like this. Its obviously not going to have multiplayer and the game content a full title would normally have. Therefore, will it be reviewed to the same standard as say Gears of War or Halo 3? Will it be reviewed where its lower price is taken into account?

Yeah Shadow Complex is more or less like Metroid if anything.

I'm buying this game because it's the closest thing I'll get to an Advent Rising sequel, as it's by the Mustard brothers, based on an Orson Scott Card writing, and the characters are quite similar. This is more in the style of Metroid gameplay wise, though. Anyways, I LOVED Advent Rising, despite its shortcomings. I say AA (8.5). A great value at $15. It's said to run a normal length of 10-12 hours or so, but can be completed much quicker in an old-school marathon run.

Yeah Gamespot has a couple of arcade reviews up.

I just realized, games like this are almost always played using a D-pad, and the 360 D-pad sucks bad. I really hope it works well with the analog stick.
