Uncharted, Rachet & Clank, and Little Big Planet already proved that. When Killzone 2 comes out next year, forget it, X-box 360 wouldn't even catch up. The X-Box 360 has probably reached it limit with Gears of War 2 as it looks like a slight improvement from GeOW 1.MaximumD

I don't see either system improving vastly over what's already out. Maybe 25% better looking at the most. Uncharted, Ratchet and Clank, etc.. could all be done on the XBox 360 and look exactly the same. So your point is pretty mute. The XBox 360 GPU is slightly better then the PS3. This has been confirmed by developers all over the world. That explains why some of the 2rd party multiplat titles look a bit better on the XBox 360. By 2011 it won't matter much as both Nintendo and Microsoft will be launching news systems that year.

They should release the ageia physX unreal tournament 3 maps for ps3.....ageia used to say cell was good for its physics back in the day.

even though ut3 only 30 fps on ps3 should stay pretty stable .

Are you kidding? Banjo's Nuts looks like a joke compared to Little Big Planet. If you want to make a compelling argument, try comparing Gears 2 with MGS4-- however, Killzone 2's visuals so far look quite a bit grander than Gears 2 due to it's epic scale.

hype, since the PS3 wasn't out and sony needed something to distract people who wanted to jump IN with the 360. Sony did it with the dreamcast and it worked, the lies worked and people were just easy to get to back then and since Sega was a finacial mess, they died.

Anyone remember the ps3's 250 million triangles per second vs 360's 500 million triangles per second; and the list goes on and on with the 360 stomping the crap out of the ps3 in every catagory.

Where is the 360's power at? certainly doesn't show in games. The T.C is right. Personally i don't care which system is better. I have both and I can tell you that I love my 360 as much as my ps3. They are both equal in gameplay and graphics. It's when you have to pay to play online is when the difference shows. It sucks but hey I still love my 360. Use the 360 for single player games like deadspace and ps3 for multiplayer games like farcry if you can and the world is a much better place.

Remember just 2-3 years ago how everyone were like the PS3 will be much better than the XBOX360 on the graphics side, cpu etc...

Years later, the graphics are absolutly the same, and so is the cpu power. I did well to buy a XBOX360 as soon it came out.

that is because they make the games for each system equal, it saves them money then building it from scratch for each system. yes, the ps3 can have better graphics than the 360, its just a matter if and company is willing to spend the extra money to make the game that way.

I still think LBP, with it's actually giant levels (full 3 story high buildings, like 150 times taller than sack boy) and the game's phsysics, and art **** and fire effects and such (albeit similar to banjo) combine to make an overall graphically superior game than anything the 360 has.

Sir, that is the first time I have ever heard that online was better on the PS3. I think I'll cry...

On topic, I own all 3. Haven't been too impressed with tha 360. Looks ok but really Gears has been the only game to really show off what the system can do. Look at PS2 games. In the beginning, they were awful but games of more recent release look pretty good in terms of quality. It seems, with the 360 being much easier to use, has already peaked while the PS3 has many years for someone to make a game (like gears) to show off the true potential of the console.

LBP is really stunning, but its not that much better than things on 360, such as Viva Pinata, Kameo, etc.

In fact, I have yet to play a game on PS3 or 360 that I thought could not be done on the other system.

I have Kameo on 360 and it doesn't even look as good as Rachet & Clank.

Being an owner of both games, I would have to disagree.

Yes, at a cheaper price point also. Which is still true today, if both consoels were equal then PS3 owners paid extra cash jsut for the BR player and a $2 integrated WIFI adapter....
