Rather that the close combat sequences did not look as though they could be part of gameplay, but rather QTE's.

I could be wrong, no one's actually played the game yet. But that's how it's always been handled.

The moment you get into a grapple it's the "PRESS A!!!!!" button starts to flash. That, is boring to me.

Hopefully, I'm wrong and they've manged to make close combat more dynami and engaging.

ON TOPIC: I have said everything I had to say reguarding the matter.

One trailer is completely lit up entirely using global illumination (akin to Crysis 2 or Battlefield 3 on PC),

And the other is using a combination of pre baked lighting, and dynamic lights ( but no global illumination). Light shafts were not the only thing I pointed out in the TC.

You also need to note that there is no lightsources coming from actual objects in this game (since there are no electronics. its all coming from daylight) If you cannot see that the pictures without global illumination are using pre-baked lighting, while the others are being completely lit up from natural light sources (i.e. those godrays are COMPLETELY lighting up the scene), then that is not my problem. Ive put fourth my claim, and Ive fulfilled the the required burden of proof to back up said claim, and I did so in a civil matter. And it has been met with nothing but screaming internet kids defending their videogame like they want me murdered. So Ill say it again, continue to do what you do best cows :cool:

Irrelevant. There are natural light sources everywhere in that video. They are inside of a building where there is NO light that doesnt come from daylight.

Global Illumination simulates light bounce and radiosity transfer, which you can see in the trailer and NOT in the gameplay video. (with the Crysis 2/BF3 esque godrays). Only pre-baked lighting. Reguardless of their being light shafts (which I never explicitly implied that there were NO light shafts....the bulk of my post was reguarding Global Illumination),there is NO radiosity transfer in the gameplay video.

In the reveal trailer, the entire scene was being lit up by radiosity transfer from Godrays.

How do you think the scene in the gameplay video is being lit up? :? Magic? Nope. Pre baked lighting.

How is it a bull-video when it looks very very similar to what they originally showed, also...your line of thinking is bad becaue the game is still in development and DN can tweek and adjust things as they go...or did you not know that they also changed the appearance of one of the characters since that original video was shown???

The argument that it doesn't look exactly the same as the original video is a flawed argument because they've changed some other elements that are even specifically related to graphics that would render it diffrent from the video to begin with.

Ever stop to think that they decided that the lighting was too much and wanted to tone it down? Is that completely out of the question in your mind?
