It doesn't apeal to people over there.

360 sales are dropping like hell.They were twice that number two weeks back.And on the other hand PS3 has a very stable selling rate.

I don't really get the celebration over a couple of weeks of 360 sales boosts in Japan though. Have to say at least MS has made a bit of a dent there this time. Maybe next gen we'll see them crack it after establishing a foothold there, who knows?

i dont get why lems boast whenever the 360 beats the ps3 in japan. Sure its good news but we are so used to seeing the 360 get low sales 700-2000 units or so that we expect it to go back to that soon enough.

If it stays around-over 10k a week for a while then that would be a big turn around in japan and great news for the future of 360 in japan.

Typical. In most parts of Europe, the 360 is outselling the PS3 due to the fact that the PS3 doesn't have alot more than the 360 does for it's prize. It's 6 times as expensive.

but what im getting at is if the 360 gets out of there 800-2000 a week sales and continues to sell better then normal it will catch the ps3 in japan.

i dont think it will outsell the ps3 in japan this gen in japan but the 360 will do alot better then the original xbox did over there without a doubt.
