Why did Steam break like PSN? Because they gave away Left 4 Dead 2 for free to everyone who wanted to download it, during which their bandwidth usage peaked at 4 TERABITS PER SECOND.

I hope they gave it away for free because they plan to announce something new.

Never really understood the appeal of L4D. Game sucks to be quite honest. I played it solo and everyone said it would be awesome with friends. Played it with friends....and it still sucked. I guess its just one of those cases where I just really didn't like a popular game.

If you didn't play the versus mode, you didn't really do anything exciting within the game. Everything is pretty much training for the versus mode, and if you didn't play that, it's more like one of those cases where you judge the game without really playing it.
It's a classic case of people jumping at free stuff, even if the said free stuff is unnecessary. I myself am guilty of it, of course. I don't think I would've ever bought Left 4 Dead 2, but when it was free, I just could not not get it. After all, it's free and only takes a few clicks.
Oh please, that's all? My ISP pushes more than that to my house. I'm currently running my holographic 8k Lifesize image display at 15TB Down and 6TB Up. Lag free for the moment but I'm sure once Atari comes out with that new Online Qbert, I may need to upgrade my speed again.
