So we are down to COD4,SMG,Bioshock,Crysis and Halo 3 for GOTY..

In my opinion I think COD4 deserves it all the way. COD4 has tremendous single player even though short but still sweet along with some amazing multiplayer. If COD4 doesnt get it my next choice would be Bioshock because its just brilliant and near perfect.. As much as I absolutly love Halo 3 i even have to admit it is more of the same like it or not and just doesnt deserve GOTY when up against great titles such as Bioshock and COD4. Not a PC gamer so i dont know much about crysis other than it got good scores and i dont have a wii but again basing it off the good scores it has recd..

My personal opinion.. COD4 will take GOTY Crown this year.. Discuss

It's SMG vs. Crysis vs. World in Conflict

Crysis is the best shooter out of all those therefore nothing else has a chance.

4 hour long singleplayer = Not GOTY material :P

I say Super Mario Galaxy wins it... if not, then Crysis.

It'd suck if Halo 3 wins, because then I have to leave SW forever :P

As far as scores go: Bioshock, while superb, should be replaced with World in Conflict.

SMG all the way baby! Well... I say that because Crysis will nuke my computer so I have yet to play it :(.

I think it will go between Crysis and SMG.

Personally, I would go with Crysis because it simply is much more innovative, provides a new benchmark which all new shooters will compare to, and gives the best graphics experience across all platforms.

SMG is good, but it will not influence the future gaming market, unlike Crysis.

On a side note, wow. It seems as if those topics saying Crysis will just be pretty graphics feel liek they happened so long ago. Congrats, Crytek, on proving all of the naysayers wrong. *raises a toast*

I was mainly Talking about if we were going about 360/Wii/PS3 games for GOTY. Not including PC.
