Just out of curiousity, why are you paying for FFXI when you have WoW?
Just beat R6V and Dead Rising on my 360 (am now working on achievements for Dead Rising).
PC, I just picked up STALKER, haven't really gotten into it yet.
Wii, nothing atm =/ Waiting for some of the new releases.

They are the two opposites of MMO's! Why not play both?

Because i know how time consuming and addicting WoW is. ;)
Not to mention WoW is of much much higher quality IMO. Guild Wars is about the only other thing i play other than WoW, but that's free. I was just curious why he's paying for 2 of them when one is so much better than the other. :)
PC- Nothing much. Some Half-Life 2 there, maybe some Oblivion there, and a bit of Medieval 2.
DS- Most of what I own. I don't play alot of Nintendogs anymore (got old and tedious fast), but I play the others somewhat frequently.
GameCube- Not a whole lot. Maybe some SMS or Mario Kart, but that's it. I'm thinking about getting back into WW or buying TP, though.
I've been too busy to play games in long stretches the past few weeks. When it lets up this summer, I'll play more.

I like them bolth for different reasons. Besides I actually see FFXI superior to WoW in a few ways, like the job system, its just takes alot more patience than WoW though lol.

True, it was tough for me to get into FFXI but it was pretty good. FFXI does take alot more patience, no doubt. The PvP in WoW is what kept me coming back for more and really put it over FFXI for me. Raids were also a blast, but mainly PvP.

Have you played FFXI? Because if you had you'd see that WoW is not much higher quality. I know it's your opinion, but i'm just wondering if you've tried FFXI. IMO i think WoW is overrated. And yes i have played it and got to 43.nothing.....
sold all my ps2 games except for 3 rpgs i never finished(or began in DQ's case)
sold all my wii games except wario
tried to play halflife: episode one on my pc... went downstairs for 10 mins came back and it smelled like smoke so... until i get a new vid card i'm not gonna be gaming PC wise
i played some eyetoy and ddr for my movie the other day, that was fun
also have castlevania:sotn, ratchet n clank, final fantasy tactics and am working on xenogears on my psp... though i feel i'm going to give up and add it to the pile of my other unfinished rpgs
I see we have a lot of people play on the PC. ::claps::
I just purchased God of War II so I've been really into that game. I am also playing in the beta of Lord of the Rings Online. I am waiting for Crisis Core, Final Fantasy VII but at Square Enix's rate we might be looking at a North American release in early 08. I haven't picked up a Wii, PS3, or Xbox 360 yet. But my PC is treating me well. I want STALKER!
How is LOTRO? I've heard some excellent things about it, so much so that I picked up my pre-order when I went to get STALKER. I've always liked Turbine's MMORPGs, am I to assume that LOTRO is looking to shape up to the same level of quality? -JohnI see we have a lot of people play on the PC. ::claps::

And yes i have played it and got to 43.Haha. That's one debate in the MMORPG community which will never end. Individual players have their own favorite game in the genre. But the videogame industry has many convinced that World of Warcraft is the MMORPG to be playing. I believe that the critics maybe right regardless if it's overrated. I played Final Fantasy XI for awhile, and boy it was a grind. But for me, the challenge was kind of annoying then actually being fun. Final Fantasy XI is a good MMORPG in it's own right, but you can't simply jump in and out. That's why more casual MMORPGs are extremely popular especially WoW. I am playing Lord of the Rings Online, and it does a good job of giving players a short time-sink.
PC-S.T.A.L.K.E.R, Beyond Good and Evil, KOTOR 2. Might start Vampire The Masquerade - Bloodlines again.Supafly1
Anyone who has actually played or is playing that game officially has good taste; Beyond Good and Evil doesn't get the respect it deserves.

And yes i have played it and got to 43.I have played FFXI, played it on PC for awhile. I had 3 lvl 60's when i quit WoW, one of which was a 60 Dwarf Hunter with Full tier 2 and the Dragonbreath handcannon (for anyone who has seen this gun, they know how great it is, essentially a "tier 2" gun).
FFXI was great but the PvP in WoW made me keep coming back to WoW. I eventually cancelled my FFXI subscription.

Guild Wars is also something that gets a good amount of attention simply because it's free. It's a great game in it's own right as well though.
