Samsung 42" 1080P LCD HDTV.

I recently upgraded from a 1080i set to a 1080p set, and for anyone that was wondering there really is a difference!

I don't own a TV right now so my consoles just kind of sit there...but I do still have a pretty decent PC with a Samsung 19" SyncMaster LCD.

I'm B. When I get some more money which should happen in the not too distant future I will upgrade. I'm thinking about 42 inch HD tv for gaming would suit my needs best.

Plasmas are good. They are worth your money. Its just that I tend to leave my TVs and monitors on a lot, so I'd rather have LCD. If you're not as lazy as I am though and actually turn stuff off, plasma is probably the way to go. It'll easily last you three years or more, which is usually how long any TV or monitor is supposed to last nowadays.

I used to be pro-plasma but after looking at the newest LCDs I have changed my mind. They have really improved the picture quality and contrast ratios. The newest Samsungs are an excellent deal.

Once nice thing about the LCDs is that they run cooler. A large plasma + 360 can heat up a room real quick.

Still I can't believe how many people here are playing on an sdtv. I suppose it beats ps2/xbox.

Play my PC games on a 1024x768 monitor. Sometimes I use it with my 360,if not that then my 20" 480p TV. :) Going HD soon.
