- Releasing buggy games is ok as long as there is a patch released within a month.

- It's 2011 and AI still sucks.

- Companies have become greedier than ever before(online passes, horse armor, etc..)

- Creativity and originality is no longer necessary.

- Exclusives don't matter(PS3).

- The most sold system of this gen is a gimmicky toy for kids using the oldest hardware.

- Next gen is looking bleak for core gamers.

That seems to be a common misconception. Gamecube launch - 199USD. Xbox and PS2 - 299USD.

I would say that releasing games that should still be in beta and NEVER patching them is more accurate.
