So what is your problem with the xbox360?

I wouldn't buy an Xbox for the same reason I wouldn't buy a GE microwave. Reliability. No disc based console has had a spotless record, sure, but c'mon. Have you seen the disc read error threads for Gears of War 2? WTF? When I was making my 7th gen decision, I talked to my friends and co-workers that owned 360s. Each one of them was on their 3rd and 4th console. F that.

• Pay for P2P multiplayer.
• This price hike is the result of people supporting Microsoft's initiatives.
• Proprietary solutions, i.e. making third party accessories impossible, accomodating for overpriced official ones.
• The disallowing of free content and features.
• Hardware issues. Think I'm on my fifth 360. One of them ruined two of my games.
• Microsoft shifting focus towards the casual market.
• Going forward I'm not seeing a lot of exclusives, never mind any I care about. Reach is it for the next 8-10 months looks like.

After my experience with the Xbox 360 I am extremely apprehensive of Microsoft's next console.

My only real complaint is the paying for online. I felt that way even before the $10 increase. Online should be free, charge for the extra stuff, but charge something reasonable. Everything else is fine.

I only have a few minor problems that don't bother me too much: XBL cost and noisiness.
