Any big name blockbuster type games released on PC recently? Exclusives of coarse.

Why?
why what?
Why make a thread about this when it's so easy to find the answer yourself ?
Just clicking on the 'reviews' button at the top of this site lists you a bunch of review, among which PC exclusive games that were reviewed recently like Grow Home, Total War Atilla or Grey Goo.
Are you really that lazy ?

you sound defensive, angry, and upset. it was a simple question that you don't have the answer to.
I get that you love making poorly done PC bashing threads but google is your friend. I think all that matters is that there were more and better exclusives than on Xbox.
Assetto Corsa currently has an 85 metacritic score
Killing Floor 2 suppose to release 2nd quarter this year for PC (inb4 PS4 version, CSGO and PayDay have console versions and look how they turned out)
Dreadnought getting closer to open beta and its made by Yaeger games
Elite:Dangerous
Divinity: Original Sin
and much more
what does your Xbox one got going for it besides Halo 5 and Tomb raider XD
I know this is just a PC bashing thread but I'm going to list them anyway.
2014:
2015 (and later):
Not much blockbuster releases on PC. This is one area the PC totally lacks imo. It's full of indie titles, crowdfunding games, early access, MOBAs, MMOS etc. but high production value AAA spectacles are lacking.
I'm not crying over it though, i still love PC gaming for its openess and its freedom, for its mods, for its backwards compatibility, for the community and sales for the vast amount of genres saturated with games, for the superior versions of every multiplat...
there you go, i just took all the shit out and left 4 gems
Well, looking at that poor list, it's not surprising that everybody in this thread is so passive aggressive.

I respect your opinion.
Yes but how can one talk about exclusives without mentioning just how bad popular game design has become? The consoles are to blame for this. Topic after topic of "sub 8 hour campaign" "On disc dlc" "$200 worth of dlc and season passes" "too many qtes and cinematics"..............? Well, all you console gamers go run out and buy these games. How in heck can you do this and speak low of a different platform?
there you go, i just took all the shit out and left 4 gems
I'd be careful, if anyone did that to the PS4/Xbone exclusives list there'd be even less games left.
Divinity was better than any console exclusive on all platforms
Super Mario 3D and Bayonetta says haluuu
they're trash compared to Divinity, not even in the same league.
It's quite sad how you didn't say Great games but Big Name Blockbuster games...because we all know only the best games have massive budgets right?
Who cares about good games as long as there is logo of billionaire company on the box.
We'll let you on a little secret OP. AAA exclusives aren't actually system sellers. That's a mentality of a bygone age held by some old-timers. Games like Uncharted, Infamous or hell even Halo don't sell as well as COD or GTA. Exclusives don't have as much an impact as they used to in the N64/PSX days. Back then yeah, a Zelda or a Final Fantasy could sell systems. Nowdays? Multiplat completely dominate.
As for the question, there were many good games on PC such as ARMA III, Divinity: Original Sin, Civilization and a few others. PC critics tend to be a lot more strict than their consoles counterparts and it just isn't the market to shell out huge budgets on exclusives as it is way too competitive.

maybe your just saying that because it's exclusive, not saying it's a bad game. i heard it's a good game but not a great one.
Divinity 87 on MC. the two i mentioned is 90+
well i don't wanna argue on this one so Divinty wins in your world
PC games arent really marketed like console games, at least not on the same level. If a game is good on PC then chances are PC gamers would have heard about it and will be playing it, thats just how it works. PC gamers dont need a $100 million marketing scheme from publishing companies to tell them what to play.
A game could come out of nowhere and sell millions on PC; DayZ, Minecraft, Terraria, Killing Floor, Wreckfest, Kerbal Space Program, Space Engineers are a few examples of games that do not have the type of marketing that AAA games on consoles get but still sold (and continue to sell) loads because the PC community made them popular. This happens quite often.
Of course we still have games that are advertised like console games too and a few of those games have been listed above. Chances are though, most great games on PC you wont hear about from a TV commercial.

Bayonetta was incredibly cringe worthy.... but then I will accept my own bias here because I find the hack n slash genre incredibly tedious and repetitive..... the theme/story/characters just made that 10x worse.... I've played most DMC games, god of Wars, Castlevanias ...... but ironically for once I would take them over the perfection and 60 FPS of Bayonettas gameplay ... something I will very rarely EVER say...
I just stopped playing it.... despite having good gameplay it was obsurd, childish (not in the good way) felt like something a 15 year old teenager dreamed up. And no, I'm not apposed to "Sex appeal in games" quite the opposite... it wasn't just the sexual themes... it was every other aspect of the theme, voice acting, story ... pitiful. I felt abit ambarrased playing it in front of the misses... and I've played many more cheesy anime games in front of her than this (hell she has too)...
Great gameplay .... behind one of the most un-enjoyable everything-elses in existence.
Super Mario 3D world:
Single player - a dissapointed luke warm experience compared to past games (Galaxies/64 and even sunshine.).
Multplayer - best mario multiplayer game for a kick around.
As much as I love my Wii U , those 2 games in particular are in my mind some of the most dissapointing games to score that high.... simply because while they do well in one area, they often dissapoint in others... games like that getting 9s and 10s? the review scoring system is a load of S*it.
Unreal Tournament will be the best multiplayer game of this year and probably the next couple of years. I don't see anything coming from Sony or Microsoft that will come close to it anytime soon.

It's a natural development of the console argument
"Name some PC exclusives!"
*someone jots down a list*
"Hahaha. I've never played them and they require reading. No one plays those!"

Taking out games that scored better than any ps4/xbox exclusive lol

Also PC gamer made an article interviewing devs of what makes PC gamers different from console gamers and developers have said PC gamers are more willing to try different experiences. Zeno Clash devs have also said how PC gamers are more willing to try their weird game.
Is there a point here?
Are you surprised that people are looking forward to 2 Rpg's that are spiritual sucessors to 2 of the best rpg's ever made?
Your fanboy stupidity is over 9000

Demon's Soul is obviously the bestest RPG ever

You forgot
"Where' the PC exclusive with GOTY awards"
With threads like these the collective IQ of SW is dropping faster than the number of exclusives on the xbone :o
This is a pretty typical System Wars thread.
PC is a great platform, but it's no where near as interesting as the console market.
In your opinion. It has considerably more aaa-aa-a scoring titles at metacritic and gamespot, with more genres, and better version of most multiplats which encompass most video games.
