So what's your latest excuse for the hate on Halo: Legends?

I'm tired of seeing all these crappy comments about how Halo: Legends is 'teh milk' or whatever. With the hired guns behind this project there's no way it will be bad, whether you like anime/Halo or not it will have great story/story-telling.

It looks good and has talent behind it, but I don't like anime. I'll probably still check it out, though.

I like anime, but I have doubts. For one, one of the few shots has a Spartan in what looks like a fistfight with a giant monster...

Only two animes I could ever get into were Dragon Ball, and Cowboy Bebop, and iirc the Halo anime is being made by some of the Dragon Ball producers? Which probably means Halo: Legends will be on my short list of animes I enjoy.

I love anime, and I can't wait to watch this alongside with the Iron Man anime. :)

If that first screen shot (the Spartan with the Poker Visor) is legit, I'm not totally loving the style. As much as I sort of enjoyed Gundam Wing, that artstyle won't suit Halo either.

As long as the dialogue isn't murdered by translation or whatever, I'll be okay with it. The number one thing about anime that I hate is the dubs. The second is the voice acting sometimes, for even the original Japanese (with subs). Otherwise, the production values for an anime are always top notch, so they are a little safer than putting this project in the hands of some generic animation company.

I have little regard towards any anime, the last and perhaps the only one I ever bothered to watch was Gotham Knight ( If you're normally not an anime fan, I fully recommend it, the 6 short films wereexcellent.) and The Dead Space anime. This looks pretty interesting though.

I think it will be pretty meh, those type of antologies tend to be (especially if you're not fan of the franchise to begin with). A normal series would have been so much better.

I'm much more interested in the Forerunner trilogy of novels. I can't believe MS got an authog or Greg Bear's calibre to write a game novel.

i see it as basically the animatrix but halo instead.

I'm not a big fan of anime. I will probably check it out but I'm not sure if I'll like it.

I'm not a Halo fan what so ever. Although Legends has caught my interest especially with the studios working on it.

I don't like anime? Well actually I do. I guess I've got no reason then. Then again I'm not hating on it. Didn't really see anyone else do that too tbh.

Just that fact that it's more Halo. Other than that, if you guys know which studios and famed artists are working on the project, then you have no reason to doubt this series. It's going to be seriously awesome.
