Not at all excited. PSP2 is going to be outdated by Iphone in a couple years anyway. If I want to play HD Sony games I'll play my PS3.

[QUOTE="93BlackHawk93"][QUOTE="specialzed"] Nope, nothing wrong with that post. While 3DS owners are getting crosseyed i'll be enjoying true fps and awesome racing games of the PSP2.charizard1605
Zarbon?
Nah, this guy's grammar seems to be fine. Now Zarbon, on the other hand...True, lol.
Good thing is though, it will get good tittles.I care about games, its a ****ing handheld, I want to play good portable titles, that's actually all I care about.

[QUOTE="93BlackHawk93"]Rayman 2, Chaos Theory, Asphalt, Madden, PES.Which?
OreoMilkshake
Don't recognize most of them, i guess that's why i didn't post them.
Is the curren PSP out dated? Not really. Plus i'd go nowhere near my iphone 4 to play games thats my PSP's job.Not at all excited. PSP2 is going to be outdated by Iphone in a couple years anyway. If I want to play HD Sony games I'll play my PS3.

So it's trying to be a portable console again, it'll fail again like the original.[QUOTE="Zune_HD"][QUOTE="right4dead"]
PSP2 will have a 5 inch OLED screen, 2 thumsticks, 3G, bluetooth, HD graphics. thats like having a console in your pocket, all i see for the 3ds is remakes of 12 year old games and a hologram effect screen.

over 70 million psp's sold is a success. its one of the biggest selling consoles in history, go back to sleep.
True, but this is the PSP2 we are talking about. Now there's competitors from smartphones and tablets. Both the PSP and DS won't reach those high sales they did last generation.I'm not. I want handheld titles not watered down console ones.
Espada12
looks like 3DS will disappoint you then, since its releasing games which seem to give a much more console like experience on the go.. now whether these are watered down console games or just great handheld games we'll have to see... surely most of the games shown for 3DS are much closer to what consoles have to offer...
[QUOTE="ActicEdge"]Good thing is though, it will get good tittles.I care about games, its a ****ing handheld, I want to play good portable titles, that's actually all I care about.

That remains to be revealed. Whos to say.

I never understood that mentality, seems like gamers are unable to think for themselves and just go by dumb trends on the internet like "psp is not portable enough" lol.[QUOTE="edo-tensei"][QUOTE="ActicEdge"]

That's kind of silly though, you know it'll get tittles, from japan and brobably more western support just like the psp had more western support[QUOTE="Malta_1980"][QUOTE="Espada12"]

3DS seems to be releasing some interesting games, and personally as long as they are great games i dont give a crap if they feel/play like a console title...
People want to make it look like PSP's games library consists of watered down console wannabe games..

I hope so, I only care about the games they show. Nothing else besides that, the price and the battery life matter to me.

I never understood the gripe of the games be to console like. I think it's amazing to be riding a bus or in a car and being able to play MGS, GoW, FFT and Socom. I want the 'portable' game experience too but having true console-like games in my hands is awesome.[QUOTE="Malta_1980"][QUOTE="Espada12"]

I don't want watered down console games on my handhelds, some people might but I am not spending my hard earned money on that. Handhelds have the advantage of portability and convience, why one earth would I every want that kind of advantage not to be taken advantage of?

How are the games on the psp watered down though, I don't agree with that statement. I'm not looking forward to the PSP2...at all. My PSP functions as a paper weight. Serves me right for buying a non-Nintendo handheld.
The 3DS on the other hand looks incredible. Ocarina of Time and Metal Gear Solid 3 sold me on the system.
Cows will complain about remakes...until remakes are announced for the PSP2.
Who said the PSP2 will have HD graphics. If the latest rumours are true, then the resolution is below the standard for HD, therefore the PSP2 cant possibly be in HD. Crystal-RushWhich brings the question. If you are not using HD processing software to make HD images, why the hell do you want that??

Sheep will complain about battery life and console ports until their beloved handheld suffers from it... yeah both sides are filled with hypocrites.
'Console in your pocket' is exactly what went wrong with the PSP1.
On the handheld market you are still competing with console and pc games. You need unique games, not console games on a handheld.
I'm not seeing the appeal of either 3DS or PSP2 at the moment. I just expect the most original games to go to the 3DS, so i'm leaning to that.

yea but, I already played the crap out of ocarina of time, and i must have beat MGS3 atleast 5 times on my ps2. nintendo doesnt take bug enough leaps forward, but the psp2 looks like it will be the better console overall. better graphics, newer games, newer features, 2 thumbsticks which enables real fps play, 3g for fast online, OLED screen for nice visuals. all i see for the 3ds is slightly better graphics and a hollogram screen. your going to see the exact same type of games that were on the DS just with better visuals, and for 90% of nintendo's games good graphics dont even matter because their games mostly look kiddy.

In theory it is the best, in practice i need to see the games that will use it and be 10/10 games, like PS3 ones
Until then, i dont care for specs, games is the thing, they better show a new FF or FF7 remake, then will be exited, now my exitement is zero, considering i dont muchcare for any PSP game
I am, and this is coming from someone that liked the DS way more than the PSP. Not much is known about the PSP2, so it has that mystery about it that makes me excited. The 3DS has been nothing but a disappointment to me since its announcement. I'm hoping the PSP2 won't. I generally like Sony systems better than the competition anyway. PSP1 was the exception. It'll have better controls suited to 3D gaming with dual analogs, so that alone makes it awesome. PSP2 also has the potential for a San Andreas Stories. I fully expect Rockstar to make SA Stories for the PSP2 at some point in the next few years. Just the mere thought of that makes me excited for it, and due to the superior hardware unlike the original PSP it could potentially be as good as the original and not just feel like a downgraded console GTA.
thats like having a console in your pocket

That's not what I want in my handhelds. If I want to play a console game, I don't want to play it on my 5 inch handheld. I want to play it on my PC.
@"right4dead" - PSP2 will have newer games
Newer games? You're right, I can't get over all of those unannounced new games for the unannounced PSP2.
So if the 3DS is launching at $250, how much is the PSP2 going to cost at launch with all that advanced tech and 3G? Especially since Sony isn't known for making affordably priced products. With 3G, there might even be a subscription involved.

yea those pixar films looks so ugly because they are kiddy.
Please show me to a link for each and every one of those games please and thank you. Oh wait, you cant? Pity that the only thing 3DS fanboys can say to further their system is that they will have "better games". Every single game I played on my DSi was garbage to me, every game I played on my PSP was loads of fun, can you explain that?
