I was getting super bored with my PS3 so I got a PC and that revitalized my love of gamingBPoole96
Yeah, this helped me out a lot as well, but I still love the PS3. Anyway, it depends on the game. I get bored with Skyrim sometimes and other games that are constant and have no evolvement, so I usually stop for a while or just play online games like LoL. The trick is to replay your favs, go for 100%, and get some new games. ;)

BullyRay44

Yeah and as soon as the mods learn you're like 11 or 12 you're getting banned.

Going to far off-topic here :P, move on.

BTW BullyRay44, you look like an alt from ispeakfact...

Anyway. Yes pretty much, I start to play more indie games on the pc they have a bit more orginality then the bigger games. Also going more out with friends and started playing guitar --'.

Not bored, but nothing has grabbed my interest in a few months. But it has always been like that. I actually skipped most of last gen, but loved the 360 /ps3.

Like with all things in capitalism, the middle is falling out. With the rising development costs of AAA games we will soon only see indie games and big budget action titles. The big budget action titles will for the most part be creatively bankrupt as it is too expensive to try something truly revolutionary when a flop could mean serious layoffs. You can just look at shooters to see this in action right now. You can also see that franchises are the way to go. With the start of a new generation we will hopefully see some new IPs, but I wouldn't be surprised if we see many others continue. Additionally, many games that were not originally action-oriented are now solely focused on it as it's where the money is: see Splinter Cell: Conviction, Hitman: Absolution, Resident Evil 5 and now 6.

I'm slowly realizing that I actually hate this as I tended to be a big fan of the middle ground in games. Games that tried something new but with the budget to at least have things like voice acting and decent graphics. I'm not getting bored with video games at all though, I'd just like some more interesting ideas to make it into the mainstream.
