[QUOTE="Giancar"]I owned all 3 :Dmitu123Finally, another user on thread who owned them all besides me.
I still own all of them, which is actually 4. :)
I purchased one solely for Jedi Academy, Knights of the Old Republic and that multiplats always were better on it and the Gamecube.
I never owned a signle FPS for it. My collection was:
Jedi Academy, KOTOR1, KOTOR2, Jade Empire, Ninja Gaiden, NBA Street 2, NBA Street 3, NFL 2K5, Prince of Persia: SoT, Jet Set Radio Future, Phantom Dust.
I loved all of those games. The only titles I was upset about missing was Team ICO games.
I was very satisfied. So much so that I'm still trying games out that I missed. I went through Indigo Prophecy in Sept. and got Fatal Frame, Syberia, and Jade Empire to eventually go through over X-mas. I also got Legend of Dragoon for the PS1. I always wanted to give it a go.
The scale of Morrowind blew my mind. Having LAN parties in the barracks with Halo made great memories (Red Faction, too). It was where I first experienced Max Payne. I could go on with this system and any others I've owned.
Four pages and absolutely ZERO mention of Steel Battalion? You disappoint me, forumites.
I absolutely love the small library of games I own for the original Xbox:
Phantom Dust (best local multiplayer game on the system, IMO)
Otogi
Otogi 2
Panzer Dragoon Orta
Steel Battalion
Steel Battalion: Line of Contact (great for when you can actually find a friend with the game and LAN it; online community for the game is dead D: )
Silent Hill 2: Restless Dreams
Fatal Frame 2: Director's Cut
JSRF
Mercenaries
Metal Slug 3
isn't steel battalion that mech game with the very large controller? if only i had the money..*sighs*Four pages and absolutely ZERO mention of Steel Battalion? You disappoint me, forumites.

My brother had an xbox and during the summer i would play it when he was gone. And XBL was ten times better then the PS2s online, I loved my PS2 but I am certainly glad I got to play some great xbox titles.
In particular, RTCW which I was pretty much addicted to in 03. At one point I was ranked # 5 in the world @ elmination (the only legit game type) in it. One of the best online modes in a game to date.
Worse console I've ever owned.W1NGMAN-
Sounds like the PS3. :( What a disappointment!
Can I donate my CDi or Jaguar to you?

Yep the PS3 is a close second for me.
I guess that's a pass on the CDi or Jaguar? I tried to give them to homeless people, but even they found them to be of absolutely no street value.
Loved it. Back in 2001, all I had was a DC and PS1 plugged into my TV.
I waited and waited to see the outcome of GC and Xbox around 2002. I really really wanted a PS2, originally, to play my PS1 games. But I still waited to see the outcome. When my brother finally convinced me to get an Xbox afer the second price drop @ $179, I said what the hell, it has a hardrive anyway, no need for memory cards. Then, my jaws dropped and I was at awe at how incredible Halo was and the potential of the Xbox system.
Last gen, it was my favorite console. Eventually I bought all 3, with GC being my close second fav.
But, yeah, to this day, even I'm not exactly an Online Player, I've always enjoyed the Xbox platform, that continues with my Xbox 360.
I held it up on a pedestal pretty much when compared to the ps2 and gamecube last gen. I honestly couldnt stand the big name franchises on the ps2 last gen. I cant really remember many of the games other than Halo splinter cell chaos theory, and some others though. Be assured I had alot though and most were shooters (what a surprise). Definitely my favorite last gen console. Long nights indeed.
Tables have turned gen though; Sony gets lots of love :P.... Nintendo is kinda in the ditch again though =/. 360 is doin just fine in the middle.
I owned a PS2 and a XBOX (some people might find this hard to believe) and I usually bought most of my multiplats for XBOX, as for the better performance. You might also find this hard to believe, but I thought the XBOX was a better system than the 360, simply because it was a tank. It was indestructable and it had some awesome games. Halo was one of my favorites for the XBOX, but Halo 2 sucked so much compared to Halo. MS has turned the 360 into the micro transaction death machine. The original XBOX only had XBOX Live, which is all you really need.dream431caMicrotransactions are just as bad on the PS3.:? In fact games like Warhawk and Motorstorm cant be deemed retail games because they are lacking so much content
