So who thinks LOLUncharted 2 graphics are better than crysis?56k

Well, I certainly don't think that Uncharted 2 has better gfx than Crysis, or 5-6 other PC games for that matter, but it looks damn fine for a console game. I can only imagine what Naughty Dog could do with a 4890 instead of a 7800GT.

I was talking about theRADEON HD 5970, to myknowledge its the only graphics card that can run the game at 60fps at 1080p. I can run crysis just fine, but the frame rate never feels smooth.... even thought I average 35+ FPS. IMO the game is badlyoptimized

Please don't say the game is poorly optimised when you have absolutely NO authority on the subject.

With My new PC the game averages 30 FPS at max setting at Very high. I can only hope that one of these days I'll be able to run the game with a smooth frame rate.

Technically (objective)...Crysis Aesthetically (subjective)...Depends on the viewer. AAllxxjjnn

Yeah at 720p the game does run perfect, and it should on a lot of PC's.

I was just sick and tired of people saying that PC is superior in every way. I didn't know there were actually people that thought that Consoles were better than PCs though. THe only way I see it is that Consoles are cheaper because not everyone can have a Nice Computer to play these games on them.

and Uncharted 2 CAN be played on the Computer but I haven't seen a PS3 Emultator any where so I'm assuming that because BluRay is new Technology that we have yet to find out how to emulate that on a Computer.

I'm a PC gamer to, and I can see that Uncharted is a very, VERY good achievement for consoles. I can see how freaking AWESOME that game is.

Why don't we all lower our Ego (the LOLUncharted 2 joke was lame)?

True. But it's going to have to be the standard at some point.

Though, looking at how CDs were still in use for installs until like, 2005? We're probably a ways off of it being a 'right now/asap' sort of thing. 2012 at the earliest I guess.

Crysis Warhead (without mods, unpatched) running fine with Gamer Settings(except Mainstream Settings for motion blur andshadows), DX10, 1280x720p on ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4650. Still running with Windows 7's Aero Peek.

Crysis may have good vis, but the game is complete trash. the MP is pure crap while UC2 has the best single player experience this gen with a pretty good 3rd person MP.

Not to mention you don't need a top of the line PC to play UC2.

Yeah, but the big question is, would Crysis look as good as Uncharted 2 being played on a rig with the same specs as the PS3? That would be interesting to see them both on even speced systems. I would say Uncharted 2 would look and perform better considering it is optimised for a lower powered system where Crysis at the time stressed even the best most expensive PC's. There is no question that Crysis technically looks better, but it's also wasn't designed to be played on a system with PS3 specs. This to me is pretty much an apples and oranges argument since the system specs are so far appart btween the two games.

Raises hand also... There's really no comparrison. It's pretty well pointless considering PC's and consoles specs are so far appart in terms of technology. I could see doing a graphics comparision between the two if they were all running near similar hardware, but with the gap they have it's pointless.

People say its a miracle that Uncharted 2 can exist, but many underestimate Crysis and the technical marvel that it represents. The thing about crysis is that it is a game that makes no compromises, all light sources are real-time, shadows are high quality, HDR lightning, LDR lightning, massive realistic physics, realistic wave effects on water, object motion-blur, volumetric effects, advanced A.I. (hardly perfect tough), paralax textures, awesome fog effects and much more...

If you take into account all the technology put unto the game and compare to all other multi-plat or console games, you may realize that its a fuc***g miracle that it runs at 25 fps on a 8800.

Let us rather debate which is the better game. No contest there.JunkTrap
