I want to. I determined that I have plenty of loot today :P, as opposed to yesterday, when I thought I didn't. I may pick it up between school and work!

nope..decided to replay Origins today in honor of me not getting DA2 lawlessxThis... Only reason I got DAO was it's Baldur's gate heritage. That is gone in DA2. I still have two worlds 2, fallout new vegas, me2, risen, wizardry 8, eschalon 2, avernum 6, arx fatalis, arcanum, witcher 2, to play for wrpgs... and not to mention the ones not out yet or the wrpgs i will replay like fallout 1-3, baludrs gate, icewind dale, vampire masqurade, ultima series, might and magic , torment, etc... I won't even go into jprgs as I got a ton of them to beet too. DA2 I may pick up ---used at $20.
Not buying it until it gets cheap. PC demo was very meh.DragonfireXZ95To be fair (I didn't like it either actually) Bioware seems to suck at making demos. I played the Mass Effect 2 demo on the PS3 (I have it for PC and like it) and based on that I would not have bought the game. Granted I didn't even play the entire Dragon Age 2 demo because I got bored after the random travel skip.
Got PS3 Signature Edition, AU$64 which is a bargain :) I hope it comes soon. I have a decent PC enough to play Dragon Age II very well one, but I love my comfy chair too much to play much on my PC mike_on_micYou could have hooked it up to the HDTV from your PC. I don't get why people refuse to overlook this feature? Shame on you!

Well in their defense, no one can ever make a demo that is truly representative of an rpg. The definition of the genre is almost entirely about about having lengthy experiences and deep narrative meanings, thats something you can't condense into an hour of playtime and expect to capture it.
Unlocking on my Steam as we speak, I'll let people know if I think it's good or not.
*edit*
It seems by some accounting Fubar, I have almost every single DLC item available on my account without the need to purchase it...for some reason. even the stuff I shouldn't have!
Did you pre-order the signature edition? Before the deadline cut off? If you did, then you get the Exiled Prince and other DLC's.Unlocking on my Steam as we speak, I'll let people know if I think it's good or not.

Writing was horrible from the demo, gameplay was about the same as Dragon Age, but I didn't find the gameplay all that great in Dragon Age either. It was a too dumbed down version of Baldur's Gate 2, which I enjoyed immensely. Also, the linearity of the first one was enough, but DA2 seems worse. As I said, I'll just wait until it gets cheap. It's EA, and almost all of their PC games are like 30 bucks on Steam just after a few months.
[QUOTE="lawlessx"]nope..decided to replay Origins today in honor of me not getting DA2 Ace6301Pretty much. I went back to the first one after 2's demo. I must say the demo has given me new appreciation for origins and awakening. Yea that demo put a bad taste in my mouth. I might get Hoefront instead, or rent it. I will wait for the reviews.
I ordered it for the Xbox, and will be playing it as soon as UPS drops off my Signature Edition from Amazon.
Fool me once... (DA: Origins) shame on you Bioware.
Fool me twice... (DA2).... nope I'm not that stupid.
I'll be waiting for Skyrim, ME3or maybe The Witcher 2 for my RPG fix.
Pass since I'm not a big fan of the first and for RPG's in 2011, ME3 & Skyrim is what I'm all about. :D

I'm getting the PC and 360 versions.

Out of curiosity, why both?
I often rent the console version and buy the PC version off Steam.I tend to play some games more than once so experiencing it on another platform sometimes give the game a fresh feel. Please Log In to post.
