Him, Blackace, Mems, and other Lems are in complete denial meltdown mode. Blackace even denied XOne needing a used game fee when Phil Harrison said it himself. I feel sorry for Lems right now.
Ding ding ding ding. We have a winner. None of you other losers could get it right.[QUOTE="dommeus"]
Because it is a single, unified system that they want to take over the living room. One device.

"Do I get to bring [my XBLA games] with me [to the Xbox One]?
Those games will continue to run on your Xbox 360 for as long as your Xbox 360 runs. The box is not backward compatible and we think for somebody who invests in a large digital library that you want to keep your [Xbox 360]. Keep that as a vibrant part of the ecosystem. That's why we've made sure that your identity, your friends, are constant between both platforms. You don't have a separate identity on Xbox One or [Xbox 360]; it's the same, you are you. My friend's network is the same on both boxes, my achievements are the same. So we think that service component is an important component to keep constant across both devices."
All in ONE experience. BadoshThis guy got it. An all in one experience basically is what they're trying to get at.
"Xbox 3."
"No, we cannot name it Xbox 3. Xbox 3 or Playstation 4, which one would you get?"
"Ok... you got a point. Let's just think this over."
"Xbox 1."
"Done."
I've heard multiple reasons:
* It is called the Xbox One becausee it will be the last one they make
* They call it the Xbox One because when you see One, it'll make you want a PS4 instead
* They call it the Xbox One because it represents the amount of good games it is getting
* Its called the Xbox One because no one you know will get One.

You forgot to add this reason.
*Because it's Microsoft's first console.
Because when you see one you turn one degree and walk away.kuraimenInto it at an angle because you only moved 1 degree.
[QUOTE="kuraimen"]Because when you see one you turn one degree and walk away.TigerSupermanInto it at an angle because you only moved 1 degree. The thing is huge so you can spot it from a considerable distance. If you turn a degree from say 100 meters before reaching it then when you get to the point the angle will be enough to pass by it.
[QUOTE="kuraimen"]Because when you see one you turn one degree and walk away.TigerSupermanInto it at an angle because you only moved 1 degree. it depends on how far away you are, you could possible walk past it if you saw it from a distance, which i think is the prefered viewing angle of one

Because it replaces all your other living room devices. Everything in "one" device.
